Prepare a SIM card and a mobile phone, your SIM card must have network connection.
What you see is the previous location data because the GPS location data is not uploaded to the server yet.
The LBS location depends on the accuracy and consistency of LBS and Google map, you have to wait for Google updates.
The running statistics on the monitor platform depends on the location data uploaded by the locator, it will be influenced by signal, environment, malfunction, etc.
The service provider will re-activate the communication function of your SIM card in 24 hours.

Am I to assume then that this device for GSM Network purposes is effectively a 2G Device? As per link: http://www.smh.com.au/technology/technology-news/budget-mobile-customers-brace-for-australias-2g-shutdown-20161103-gshpx5.html Australia is to turn off it's 2G network so I'm assuming at even if I place a 3G or 4G sim card in the device it will not work in Australia once the 2G Network has been shutdown?
2G can support this Device. You can use it.
