JGAURORA A3S Fully Metal LCD Display Control DIY 3D Printer

This is my first 3D printer and I couldn't be happier with it. I bought it during cyber monday sales, and received it in early January. The overall quality is beyond my expectations, the price is that of an entry-level printer, but you get a pretty decent 3d printer with some high end features.

Pros:
- Extremely easy to assemble: it arrives pre-assembled, you just have to put two pieces togheter (the bed and the frame) and tighten them with 4 screws. The only other part you have to add and screw in is the filament holder, but it's pretty easy.
- Sturdy structure: it's made of solid metal, it's pretty stable, not shaky or flimsy at all, unlike many entry-level 3d printers.
- Easy to use: after buying it I had some second toughts, like maybe this would have been too complicated for me to use, since I never had a 3d printer before, and I don't have any technical background. But instead it is really very easy to use, after a few hours and after a few tries I felt like I mastered the art of 3d printing :) You only have to follow carefully the instructions for bed levelling and filament loading (there's a very easy to follow video included in the pen drive that comes with the printer). The bed levelling is especially important and you have to check it before every print.
- It has a color lcd display that allows you to fully control the printer even if it's not connected to a computer
- The bed has a special non-stick coating, which actually works
- 250g of white pla included
- sandisk cruzer blade usb drive included (with the software the instructions and some pre-sliced samples)
- the software JGcreat to do the slicing is also very easy and intuitive to use. You can also use Cura
- if the power goes out it restarts where it left off
- it's pretty accurate you can get good results

Suggestion

- better results with pla rather than with abs
- may overheat if left at maximum power for long periods of time
- the end of filament sensor sometimes beeps for no reason
- takes a long time to print big things (like with any 3D printer)

Once it arrived it took me about 5 minutes to mount it and I never had a 3D printer before. So from this point of view it is definitely convenient.
Aesthetically it is fabulous and the touch LCD display, very defined, gives it a touch of high professionalism.

I have a printer for more than 2 months so I can give you some advice.
The prints are very good, I printed a lot of things and I must say that I am very happy with the results. Use a bowden system and although I can print TPU this is a bit difficult to print well. For the rest it is perfect.

I printed ABS with hairspray, while PLA, PETG, WOOD and TPU without hairspray, directly on the plate. ABS with temperatures 230/100 (extruder / plate), PLA instead 180/65, PETG 235/35, TPU 230/30. Getting very satisfactory results. Print very quickly, but it depends on the material. For example, PETG and TPU recommend printing it slowly, to get better results, especially the first layer. But 80% of a good print is due to the leveling of the plate, so you have to level it with precision.

You can print both from Computer via USB cable or USB flash drive. In the last case it is possible to change the temperatures during printing, or the fan speed, or pause and resume (good for inserting magnets or metal hooks). Excellent function is that of resuming printing if the power goes off, but only if you print using a USB stick. In fact all these last features are there only if you print via USB stick, then directly from the printer, and not via PC.

It's my first 3D printer, but the third CNC machine. It looks nice, the materials are strong metal, with some plastic parts.The color touch LCD really gives a good user experience, because here all of the informations are easy read, understand and learn.
When it arrived, the package was in a good condition, but the filament-feedermotor-holder was bent. Fortunatelly I could fix it in 5 mins. The assembly to be read to use took trully 10 mins (7 screws and 3 wireplugs and thats all). The USB drive contains all of the instructions needed, and there are slicers for use (Cure and JGcreat). The JGCreat software looks designed for our printer, so using this to make gcode from an stl file will not cause unexpected surpises.

Based on the first trials, the Black Diamond glass is not so adhesive as it's written, but with some Hair lacquer it really usable!
The printing quality is really good, much better than a cheap acrilic printer (eg. A8) can be able to reach w/o tunings. I think is cheaper and efficient to buy an equipment with good parts and solutions integrated than buy a cheap printer and replace all the parts to make it usable.

Unfortunatelly this JGAURORA A3S machine uses the widely used cheap LM8UU guides, and after 2 hours long failureless printing one of the guide get crased on the Y axle. I could replace it (costs 1USD), but it's recommended to change all of them to DryLin bearings.

After this 3 difficultes (bent holderplate, Hairlacquer to glassplate, replace broken bearing), I did not face any more annoying issue.
As a summary I really recommend this printer! It's also worthwhile to buy for beginners, but some mechanical experience is always recommended!

Muy buena impresora para iniciarse en el mundo de la impresion en 3D el area de impresion es de 205x205x205 se puede imprimir en diferentes materias, Pla, Abs, tpu, madera, etc...
Imprime con un groso de capa de 0.1-0.3mm, con una precision de 0.2mm, con una velocidad de impresion de 10-150mm / s (sugiero 80 mm / s), el diametro de la boquilla es de 0.4mm, tiene detector de filamento y resume en caso de perdida de alimentacion.
Compatible con Cura, Symplify, etc... lleva si propio software llamado jgcreat que es una copia de cura. recomiendo usar la ultima version de cura pero copiando los parametros de configuracion de la impresora.
El montaje es muy sencillo nos llega en dos partes solo hay que atornillar la base con el marco y atornillar el soporte del filamento y ya esta lista, nos inlcuye 300gramos de pla blanco de una calidad aceptable, lleva un pendrive sandisk de 16gb con los manuales, software y varios archivos de prueba de impresion.
La calidad de construccion de la impresora es bastante bueno con unos acabado bien terminados y sobre todo bien protegida para que no llegue dañada.
Lleva un panel tactil de 2,8 pulgadas menus muy intuitivos.
Facil configuracion, calibracion, etc...
Hay varias opciones de ampliacion de esta impresora como el modulo wifi y el sensor IR de auto calibracion (aun por ponerlas en mi impresora).
Hay tambien diversos grupos de soporte e informacion de este modelo, telegram, thinkiverse, google+, etc)
El firmare de esta impresora se puede actualizar por el Marlin Custom que hay disponible obteniendo algunas mejoras.

en mi caso en tres dias se me a levantado el aislante que lleva la cama caliente.

Me decidí a comprar esta impresora tras mirar muchas. Me decidí por esta porque había leído que no había que hacerle ninguna mejora ni tenia un montaje complicado, se decía que era montar y empezar a imprimir.

Y bueno, mas o menos así fue.

Solo hay que atornillar 7 tornillos, 4 para montar la impresora, y otras 3 para el soporte del filamento. Es muy fácil. La impresora estaría lista para empezar a imprimir.

Después, en el Pendrive tienes que instalar el software para windows o mac, es el CURA, recomiendo instalar el modificado por la empresa JG AURORA, es JG CREAT, es igual que cura, pero viene pre-diseñada para esta impresora, con parámetros y la impresora cargada.

Lo siguiente es encender la impresora, y familiarizarse con la pantalla. Nivelar, pre-calentar, mover los ejes,... y cuando tengamos dominado esto, seria nivelar la cama. Recomiendo que se nivele para que entre la boquilla y la cama no pase nada, ni un folio. La primera capa sale mejor.

Y lo ultimo es probar el programa JC CREAT, meter algún diseño sencillo, y ir probando, recomiendo un diseño no muy complicado ni grande, las primeras impresiones os saldrán regular, y así no malgastamos mucho material.

Y lo mas importante, es quitar el miedo a la maquina, darse de alta en algún foro o telegram, que hay mil grupos, y ir aprendiendo con la comunidad.

Purchased to take off a whim, this is my personal Christmas present ... arrived in less than a month, I was very satisfied with the purchase.

pros:

- relatively fast shipping;
- very accurate packaging that protected my printer during the long journey;
- simple and quick assembly;
- pre-assembled structure, very resistant and stable;
- filament spool included;
- 16 GB pendriver included in the package with windows drivers, illustrative videos and sample projects for immediate printing;
- possibility of printing both by computer and by pendriver;
- touch screen LCD display;
- facilitated leveling;
- restart from the point of interruption if the printing stops due to a power failure;
- possibility to change the filament during the printing phase;
- very satisfactory print quality.

Suggestion

cons:

- I am a Mac user and I had difficulty finding the drivers for my operating system, I found them on the net but it was hard;
- the filament supplied is perhaps not of pla material because it smells like a little burnt plastic, I think it is abs.

Ultimately a really excellent product, I would buy it again ... certainly recommend it.

- settaggio veloce, basta calibrare il piano ed è pronta alla stampa
- firmware con pausa stampa / ripresa di stampa dopo blackout e cambio filo incluso
- possibilità di aggiungere modulo wifi
- lettura file da USB ( consentito anche il collegamento diretto al PC e la lettore di schede SD ).
- piano riscaldato e con superficie "black diamond" che garantisce una buona adesione.
- design curato, si può tenere su una scrivania e fa la sua bella figura
- sistema bowden preciso e funzionale
- inclusa una bobina di PLA per iniziare a stampare immediatamente
- supporto in metallo per bobine di media dimensione

Suggestion

- gestione dell'heat bed da migliorare, aggiungendo un mosfet esterno si può utilizzare a piena potenza con ABS.

Собирается принтер за 5 минут (закрутить 7 винтиков, 3 разъема).
Инструкция по печати и программа для печати, три пробных модели для печати на флешке 16Гб.
Так же в наборе 4 шестигранника разного размера, запасное сопло 0.4 мм, прозрачный лист пластика для настройки уровня стола, провод для подключению к компьютеру, внешний блок питания.
Работает умеренно тихо, но надо разбираться с настройками печати (температура стола и сопла для материалов, скорость печати...). Детали из PLA пластика не надежно прилипают к столу. Разбираться, т.е. искать в интернете. На флешке нет никакой информации по этому поводу.

Suggestion

Кстати, пластик (одна катушка) я купил за отдельные деньги, а она (катушка), имеет штатное место размещение в упаковке принтера. Значит и должна входить в комплект. А нам впаривают покупать отдельно. Это не хорошо!

В целом покупку рекомендую

Это реально самый классный 3Д принтер который у меня был. Он легок в сборке, да сам он тяжелый, но это можно записать как в плюсы так и в минусы: плюс в том что он ни куда не съедет, минус в том что его тяжело переносить. У JGAURORA A3S есть сенсорный дисплей, отзывчивый, хорошо читаемый, вообщем удобный. Так же осень, очень порадовал функция паузы и отключения питанию, после которой вы можете продолжить свою печать - это просто супер функция!
