Anet A6 3D Desktop Printer Kit

Nach dem mir das Thema 3d-Druck immer wieder über den Weg gelaufen ist, hab ich mich dazu Durchgerungen so ein Ding zu kaufen, war auch gerade im Sale.

Der Drucker kommt als Bausatz und muss komplett zusammengesetzt werden, es ist quasi nichts vormontiert. Im Packet hat nichts gefehlt und alle Teile haben funktioniert.
Den Zusammenbau hab ich ganz entspannt an 2 Nachmittagen mit Hilfe von PDF Anleitung und Youtube gemacht. Es gibt manchmal kleine Diskrepanzen zwischen der in den Anleitungen gezeigten und der gelieferten Version, welch aber keine riesigen Rätsel aufgeben. Zum Schwierigkeitsgrad wüerde ich sagen, für Leute die zum AA-Batterien wechseln Hilfe benötigen und zum Fahradschlauch flicken einen Fachmann benötigen, ist der Bausatz nichts. Ansonsten gilt man wächst mit der Aufgabe.
Die Qualität der Bauteile ist das was man von der Preisklasse erwarten kann, kein HighEnd aber brauchbar für den Anfang. Auch bei der Sicherheit bezüglich Temperatur und elektrischer Spannung sollte man umsichtig sein, das Netzteil hat keinen Kaltgerätestecker mit Schalter sondern das Anschlusskabel muss direkt aufgeklemmt werden.

Nachdem ich alles zusammen hatte und das erste mal eingeschaltet, hat alles funktioniert, Bett und Hotend sind warm geworden, Motoren haben sich bewegt wie sollten, prima!! Alles in allem musste ich feststellen der Drucker druckt: cool :-) Man erkennt aber auch das noch viel Optimierungspotential vorhanden ist und man kann optimieren und die Ergebnisse werden das zeigen.

Mein Fazit ist, die grösste Schwäche sind die Kompromisse die gemacht werden müssen um auf den Preis zu kommen, das ist aber auch seine grösste Stärke, man lernt sehr viel über den Aufbau und Funktionsweise, Fehlerbilder und Ihre Ursachen. Wer Spaß am Lernen, Probieren und Basteln hat, dem kann ich den Drucker empfehlen, wer einfach nur Produktiv drucken will, der sollte was anderes kaufen.

Estoy muy contento con la impresora. La calidad de la primera impresión con la configuración recomendada fue muy sorprendente, y se puede mejorar con actualizaciones de piezas impresas y mucha paciencia.
La impresora es fácil de montar siguiendo el video de YouTube, y la calidad de las piezas es buena en relación al precio.
Escogí la Anet A6 en lugar de la A8 porque es un poco más pequeña y parece ser algo más robusta, también me pareció mejor la rueda de selección en lugar de los botones.
Creo que la calidad de impresión de ambas impresoras es bastante similar y lo que realmente importa para conseguir una buena calidad de impresión depende de tu paciencia y habilidad para calibrar la máquina. Si no te importa la estética ni la rueda de selección, te recomendaría la impresora que fuese más económica.

I’m very glad about this 3D printer. The quality of the first print with the recommended settings was very impressive, and it can be improved with some printed updates and a lot of patience.
The machine is easy to assemble following the YouTube videos, and the build quality is fine for the price.
I chose the Anet A6 instead of the A8 because it’s a little bit smaller and seems to be more robust, also I found that the selector knob it’s more helpful than the buttons. I believe that the print quality on both machines is similar, and what really matters in achieving a great print quality depends on your patience and ability to calibrate the machine. If you don’t care about the esthetic and the selector knob I would recommend the cheapest one.

Uno de los acoples del eje Z no está hecho correctamente y esto hace que el tornillo de potencia del eje Z se incline un poco, a pesar de esto no parece afectar mucho a la calidad de impresión, de todas maneras se puede substituir por poco dinero.
He leído que mucha gente ha tenido problemas con la fuente de alimentación y que se calienta mucho para impresiones largas, sin embargo, yo no he tenido problemas todavía, imprimiendo por debajo de las 3 horas.

One of the Z couplings is not properly made and it bends a little the Z rod, but it doesn’t seem to affect too much the print quality, nevertheless, it can be replaced for a low price.
I have read a lot of people saying that the power supply is weak and gets warm for long print times, however, I haven’t got any problems yet, printing under 3 hours.

I recommend this product for anyone who like to assemble things, took me a while to put it all together. It comes will all tools needed to assemble it (one minus - I've received small Philips screwdriver broken as on photo, but I've got bunch on them at home so no harm done) and package is well packed, it received some damage during transport yet there are no damage to any of printer parts. It comes with 0.5 kg of filament to do some test prints and this is more than other deals offer - that's why I've ordered this product.
It is like Ikea furniture, only without printed instruction on how to assemble, yet there are many YT videos how to do it. Official videos mistakes X & Y axis motor, Y is attached to main frame to move hot bed. I also recommend to remove ugly protective film from frame part - looks much more sexy in black but it's little electrostatic and attracts styrofoam parts from packaging.
This product test yours engineering skills and it is great project for you and your kids, you can further improve it to have more precise prints. And there is also another GREAT DEAL with this purchase!!! I've received for free: 10 pieces of micro-condoms!!! please see picture. Great deal but they are little too small for me ;-)

The problems that you have with such a device in the beginning, are not just on the device itself lead back. I had to learn everything first. I have tried many different settings. Now I get excellent prints. If you buy an Anet A6 you have to fix one or the other error in the design still. However, this printer has a very large fan base. Improvements can be found on various platforms and also on the Internet search engines. With a little technical understanding and peace, the assembly succeeds relatively quickly. Commissioning was very easy. It's my first 3D printer and I'm really happy with it. The Anet A6 is a very good device to enter this hobby.

Die Probleme die man am Anfang mit so einem Gerät hat, sind nicht nur auf das Gerät selbst zurück zu führen. Ich selbst musste erstmal alles lernen. Ich hab viele verschiedene Einstellungen versucht. Jetzt bekomme ich ausgezeichnete Drucke hin. Wenn man einen Anet A6 kauft muss man den ein oder anderen Fehler in der Konstruktion noch beheben. Allerdings hat dieser Drucker eine sehr große Fangemeinde. Verbesserungen findet man auf verschiedenen Plattformen und auch über die Internet-Suchmaschinen. Mit ein wenig technischem Verständnis und Ruhe gelingt der Zusammenbau relativ zügig. Die Inbetriebnahme war sehr einfach. Es ist mein erster 3D Drucker und ich bin wirklich zufrieden damit. Der Anet A6 ist ein sehr gutes Gerät um in dieses Hobby einzusteigen.

Suggestion

You should plan a silenced box from the beginning. The Anet A6 is not overly loud. However, the noise at long prints can be annoying. Another problem is the already assembled extruder. Here it is no mistake to disassemble this again and tighten all screws again. I had received a large pressure incorrectly because at some point simply no filament was fed. That is very annoying. The slot for the SD card is hard to reach. Here it helps to get an extension. Overall, the A6 but for the price range is a really good entry-level device. I am happy.

Man sollte von Anfang an ein einen schallgedämpften Kasten einplanen. Der Anet A6 ist nicht übermäßig laut. Allerdings können die Geräusche bei langen Drucken schon störend sein. Ein weiteres Problem ist der bereits montierte Extruder. Hier ist es kein Fehler diesen nochmal zu zerlegen und alle Schrauben nochmal fest anzuziehen. Ich hatte einen großen Druck fehlerhaft erhalten weil irgendwann einfach kein Filament mehr eingezogen wurde. Das ist dann sehr ärgerlich. Den Slot für die SD-Karte kann man nur schwer erreichen. Hier hilft es sich eine Verlängerung zu besorgen. Insgesamt ist der A6 aber für die Preisklasse ein wirklich gutes Einsteigergerät. Ich bin zufrieden.

Printer was received in two working days after payment. Kit was in a good quality and with all parts. No missing parts inside.

Assembling of this printers was around 8 hours. After assembling I did a short test to test assembling and printer mechanical parts. All was OK. After this a tried calibret the printer. After around two hours aI was able to do test print. The first print was the cube 20 x 20 x 20 mm. The cube was in a excelent quality. No print problems.

Next print was an printer update. New nuts for hotbed, new cooling for head, filament support parts and some other tools for print.

I have ordered some safe updates (external MOSFET, SD Card reader, power connection) I will see, if this updates improve the printer.

In this price level is realy good product. Is not professinal printer, however after some updates it could be useful helper with my project. And for first steps with 3D print it could be a good start.

Disadvantages:

- not good product for who is not familiar with electronics and mechanics assembling
- plastic bearings covers for hotbed (before version has aluminum covers
- really big backlash on extruder bearings, improving could be a new bearings.
