Anycubic I3 MEGA Full Metal Frame FDM 3D Printer

Absolute fantastic 3D printer, 8 screws, 3 connectors, 4 screws for bed leveling and you are done. Very easy to build up. 1st printer that is almost printable out of the box. the 1st print was the pair of oils that are on the SD card. Perfect print.
I build up 3 different china 3D printer before, all had bin kits and I needed 5 to 6 hours to build up and a lot of tweaking and add ones to print.
the Anycubic i3 Mega is a perfect fast stetting up printer that owns the "print out of the box" status.
In the package is a lot of useful tools , like screwdrivers etc, a 2nd complete spare Hotend, a spare switch with mounting option for the endstops. You also find 1 kg of PLA in the box. My 1st personal print with 8,5 h over night was also absolute great.
I would say price fits for the good quality you get.
Perfect printer for people that starts with the 3D printing hobby and do not like to learn the hard way how to build a 3D Printer. Also great printer for everybody how wants to print out of the box.
Next Tests will be, ABS, Wood and flex filament, but maybe the flex could be a bit difficult, because its not a direct extruder (the extruder is mounted on the frame and not above the hotend).

Suggestion

I haven`t found anything negative so far. May the y-axis the the hotbed drives on 2 linear rods, thats great, but in the left side is 1 linear ball-bearing and on the right side are 2, why not 2 on both sides?

nothing to say about shipping and packaging (gearbest ok +++++), but the problem was in the printer, arrived with wiring not well connected and more serious with the nozzle with the decentralized hole, thank goodness that there was a hot end of replacement from where I then took the nozzle, 10 days later I left the power supply, I managed to restart it by changing the fan but after a few days it stopped altogether.
I wrote to Anycubic that has a nice support group, and within 15 days a nice new power supply came from China.
despite the initial problems are 3 months that I print without problems, the quality is excellent, I knew it was a very good printer, but I was surprised by the details of incredible details (we are talking about a € 300 printer), you have no problems adhesion because the ultrabase plate is excellent
would I recommend it? of course.

It took 15 mins to assemble, level and have my first print underway. The components are also very good quality and the overall assembly is very neat, the thing is built like a tank so is incredibly sturdy. No failed prints so far and they've all come out looking great. The version shipped to me was the ultrabase version (composite heat bed) so did not come with bed leveling sensor nor the bed leveling features in the software. However, manual leveling was very straightforward and i've only had to do this once so far. Bed adhesion is amazing! i've not had to use any glue sticks etc so worth the trade in bed level sensor in my opnion. Its also by far the quietest printer i've ever owned! the printer also comes with filament sensor, a spare hot end, metal spatula, tools and 1 Kg roll of filament.

Ermmm... its heavy, better have a strong desk to put it on!

C'est ma première expérience chez Gearbest et ma première imprimantre 3D. La reception a été rapide et sans problème, le produit trés bien emballé.
Le montage rapide et sans difficulté, en moins d'une heure je lançais ma première impression (fichier fournit dans la carte mémoire).
La prise en main a donc été très rapide,.
La carcasse de l'imprimamnte est entièrement en acier, les guides et vis de guidages semblent de bonnes factures. des pièces de rechanges et les outils nécessaires sont compris dans le poackage, ainsi qu'une bobine de 1kg de PLA.
Je n'ai pas encore utilisé l'imprimante en connexion USB (pas indispensable) et ne peut donc pas me prononcer sur ce sujet. Je n'ai pas non plus essayé les fonction de reprises après coupure.
Trés satisfait de mon achat et des premières expériences d'impression.

* Easy to assemble and operate (with some technical background, of cause)
* Very solid construction causes good quality prints.
* Started the first print 60 minutes after my doorbell rang, well I prepared myself by some videos on the internet
* The manual is in English. There are lots of pictures. It is very helpful and explains everything
* Everything needed (really everything, including tools) is included in the delivered box (which has a size, and a weight!)
* Never had a single broken print with the included black PLA filament. All printing parameters are written in the manual.
* Less than 10 percent broken prints with Verbatim ABS, probably due to temperature variations in my room (sunshine).

Suggestion

* Bed levelling is tricky, but not to complicated
* Looks like the bed is not completely flat, this does no harm in my case.
* The filament spool holder looks good but has a rather thin axis with no bearings. It works, but there are millions of constructions for spool holders on the internet.

Vraiment Génial je recommande.

Packaging vraiment soigné avec tous les outils nécessaires et une bobine PLA noir.
La structure de l\'imprimante est vraiment rigide ce qui permet à la fois d\'éviter des vibrations ou de petits déréglages.
Le nivellement du plateau est vraiment simple et précis! (contrairement à l\'Anet A8).
Très bonne qualité d\'impression dès la première impression.
Possibilité de changer les températures et vitesses d\'impression au cours de l\'impression très pratique!
Bref pour une utilisation régulière ou de longue impressions je recommande vivement!

Suggestion

Livraison un peu lente (commandée le 24Dec reçu le 10Janvier) mais prévue.

L'adaptateur de la prise d'alimentation bouge beaucoup mais avec un coup de scotch fonctionne très bien.

After six months of ownership, I can honestly say that this incredible little thing works better, quicker, and more intelligently than my daughter's Neato machine which was over twice the price. It was also nearly £100 cheaper than a Dyson vacuum that you have to push around yourself. What an outdated idea...

I've just ordered a second one for my cleaning lady to take home. She deserves the rest. :o)

Spare parts, including replacement motors, are available cheaply online.

The latest firmware updates have brought the much requested "zoned cleaning" mode.

It's my new best friend. ;o)

Suggestion

I only wish I had found out about these things sooner.

There are no cons, in my opinion. Buy one, be amazed.

-Excellent quality and sturdy metal frame.
-Only have to screw 8 screws to setup printer, 99% pre assembled already for you.
-User manual teaches you everything you need to know (even Cura settings etc)
-Comes with 1kg filament (not like some other printers where you only get 3 or 5 meters)
This is a excellent printer and probably one of the best bang for buck printers you can buy, this is my 3rd printer and i must say this is definitely one of my better ones so far! definitely recommend to others to buy

Great printer working good, although the nozzle was clogged up Gear Best sent a new nozzle. The printer was easy to set up just as advertised. simply level the bed and your go to go.
Prints are great they come out really good. Shipping was a little slow but that is expected from China.
I chose this printer because of the fast setup, build other printer took almost 2 days to get running. I have printed PLA ABS and PETG with no problem. The print bed it fantastic simply let the print cool and then pop off the print, no prying or hard to get off. Would buy again from Gear Best

- Dokunmatik LCD ekran kullanım kolaylığı sağlıyor.

Suggestion

- Isıtıcı tabla ABS baskısı için yeterince ısınmıyor. Tabla sıcaklığı 96 derecenin üzerine çıkmıyor.
- Otomatik bed seviye fonksiyonu da olsa çok daha güzel olurdu. Yazıcının bir önceki modeli bu açıdan daha iyiydi.
