GitUp Git2 2K WiFi Action Camera ( Pro Packing )

I like this little camera. It's the same size as the GoPro models, meaning that many of the aftermarket accessories will work with it. You cannot beat the price and the features it will give you for it. I have never had a GoPro, but I have read many reviews about this camera before my purchase. One remark people had was that it is hard to navigate the menus. I agree to some extent since the "other brand" has more buttons which make navigating easier. However, after just a few days I have been getting around the menu just fine. It is just like learning to navigate a new phone's menu's. After some time, it is not that hard.
The waterproof case seems solid, and I ordered the wrist remote, the light, and the microphone accessories with mine. I am super excited about these accessories and may do a review once they arrive. The picture is great, and I thought I was going to need to order some filters for the camera to allow me to shoot underwater, or with different effects. The camera, however, is very customizable and I will try the custom settings out first since they may compensate for the lighting needed to shoot underwater, for example.
One feature I found about this camera which made me decide to buy it was the Sony CMOS processor which it uses to take the shot. The GitUP 2 has a better processor than many of the other cameras on the market for the price. This is the one aspect of the camera which put it above the others in my mind.

Suggestion

The only Con I could think to list so far is the fisheye abberation of the 170 degree lens. I am not sure if the GoPro's have this much spherical distortion, but it is noticeable on the horizon when you take a distance shot. In fairness though, you get a LARGE portion of scenery in the pictures. I tried reducing the angle of the pictures in the settings from 170 to 90 degrees but there is still that distortion. I believe I need to use Photoshop to remedy that distortion on pictures I take in the future.

Few tips.
-If you need lens cover for the camera and case, get the one for Hero3, the one for Hero4 is too small.

- battery lasts around 1.5 -2 hours (wifi off), get spare, it is cheap

- with 32GB card you will get around 2.5hrs of 1080p 60fps

- dual battery charger from SJCAM will work great as the batteries are identical

Suggestion

- Dedicated app still not developed altough you can use Final cam and FN cam. However, with lcd screen you have all settings on screen and you can change them easily.

Aggiornamenti software molto frequenti: in nemmeno un mese (dicembre 2015) ci sono stati ben 2 aggiornamenti, che non solo hanno eliminato dei bug ma hanno anche introdotto alcune nuove funzioni. Finché il software non è maturo ed esente da bug, un aggiornamento frequente e costante non può che rappresentare un lato positivo.
Tantissime opzioni e impostazioni tra cui poter scegliere. È possibile settare l’action cam come meglio si crede, dalla regolazione del punto di bianco alla saturazione dei colori.
Possibilità di utilizzare un microfono esterno, utilissimo per chi vuole avere un audio pulito e molto migliore di quello registrato dal microfono incorporato.
Rapporto qualità/prezzo: difficile trovare un’altra action cam che con 100 euro circa offra così tanto.
Remote controller di qualità: sufficientemente economico e di ottima fattura, il remote controller della GitUp Git 2 è pensato per essere portato al polso e non ingombra. Sono presenti 4 tasti che permettono le funzioni basilari della action cam.
Le batterie si possono acquistare ad un ottimo prezzo 2,73 che è Fantastico.

non ha una vera applicazione della Gitup 2 , per il resto è ottima

Very good image stabilization !!!
Menu is a little bit hard to use but with a lot of functions.

Mobile aplications are not the perfect. Gitup mobile aplication works awfull, FinalCam is a little bit better.

It cames with the latest firmware updated v1.6.

You can use a max 128GB micro SD card BUT be carefull to format with camera menu settings to work !!!

You have in general settings an option to format you memory card !!!

You can use a separate microphone for better audio quality. I don`t like the facxt that it hasn`t MICRO usb function. It has only MINI USB port for chargiong, attaching microphone or conecting to PC.

Overall it is ok.

E' da qualche mese che utilizzo questo apparecchio video/fotografico con grandi soddisfazioni, il rapporto qualità prezzo è veramente intereressante, l'altra marca più blasonata allo stesso livello di questa, costa più di tre volte tanto!
La Git2 è dotata di un sensore Sony Exmor IMX206 da 16mpx di ottima qualità – lo stesso montato su Xiaomi Yi -, del processore di immagine Novatek 96660 e di uno stabilizzatore Gyro che permette di creare video più stabili – presenti entrambi anche su SJ5000X e Firefly 6S -, oltre al G-sensor che rileva se la cam è in movimento e permette di iniziare o interrompere la registrazione in modo automatico.
Inoltre, importantissimo, da quando la utilizzo (febbraio 2016) sono già usciti n° 2 aggiornamenti da parte della casa produttrice, che ne hanno migliorato le già buone caratteristiche tecniche.
Insomma l'acquirente può contare sul supporto tecnico del produttore per i futuri aggiornamenti!

Suggestion

Consiglio sempre di acquistare batterie di riserva originali. L'unico piccolo difetto è la durata delle batterie, chiaro in linea con i tempi dellla concorrenza ma sempre troppo poco.
