1. HUAWEI Honor 8X: the perfect mid-range - $309.99
The HUAWEI Honor 8X will jump off the page for those looking for a unique design. Made in a stunning gradient blue, the phone features a large bezel-less 6.5 inch 1080 x 2340 screen, an efficient mid-range chipset with 6GB of memory and 64GB storage. The 91% screen to body ratio will be especially appreciated by those who use their phones primarily for media.
There is also a nice set of cameras on the phone. The 20MP rear cam is not the best in specs but comes with several AI enhancements letting recognize over 500 scenes resulting in very decent imagery. The 16MP front cam also uses AI for beautifying effects aimed at improving your selfies.
The battery is 3750mAh equipped with intelligent power saving, which, according to Huawei, will let you use the phone 40% longer than the battery would typically allow.
The highlights of HUAWEI Honor 8X:
● Premium glass body
● Full screen experience (91% screen-to-body ratio)
● Strong hardware: Kirin 710 Octa Core 2.2GHz, 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM
● AI enhanced cameras
2. Xiaomi Mi 8: the best in AI - $409.99
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is the company's latest flagship bringing a lot of new features to the table like Face Unlock and improved cameras.
The phone comes with a thin bezel look, a 6.21 inch AMOLED full screen display but there is a pretty long notch at the top. One of the highlights of the phone are the cameras: the 12MP+12MP rear cameras come with 1.4 micron pixels and several AI enhancements. Thanks to that, the phone is capable of better low light photography, dual pixel autofocus, 4-axis optical zoom, 206 scene detection and more. Plus, there is the 20MP selfie cam with Portrait Mode, 12 scenes, low light enhancements and more. The front cam also allows for a secure and efficient Face Unlock.
The highlights of Xiaomi Mi 8:
● Full screen experience
● Powerful hardware
● Face unlock
● AI-powered dual rear cameras
● Dual-frequency GPS
● High-resolution front camera with AI capabilities
● See Explorer Edition for a unique design
3. HUAWEI Honor 10: premium look and feel - $369.99
The Honor 10 stands out from out in our list so far in two main aspects: design and camera performance. The phone features a stunning glass body (quite similar to that on the Honor 8X), but you get an even more unconventional selection of gradient color. There is also a fingerprint sensor built into the home button on the from that will let you unlock the phone even with wet fingers.
The cameras have always been the strong point of Huawei phones, and the Honor 10 gives you even more interns of camera performance than the 8X.
On the back, you get a 20MP black and white lens and a 16MP color lens, capable of 500 scene recognition and AI portrait close up with 3D lighting effect. On the front, there is a 24MP selfie shooter with the Reinforced Reality AR feature.
The highlights of Huawei Honor 10:
● Full glass gradient body
● A strong camera phone with AI
● Hidden fingerprint sensor
● Easy one hand holding
● 4.5A fast charging
4. Xiaomi Pocophone F1: performance on a budget - $309.99
The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is all about performance on a budget. You get the speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with an impressive 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone also comes equipped with the Liquid Cool technology that is typically used in hard core gaming phones. Thanks to it, the phone manages to keep the processor cool even when you are keeping it very busy. This, in turn, means that you won't be experiencing any slow downs.
Staying true to its focus on functionality, the F1 comes with a 4000mAh battery allowing for 40 hours of calling and 146 hours of audio playback on a single charge. There is also the support of Quick Charge 3.0. The cameras are not the focus of this model: there is the standard 12MP + 5MP dual cam on the back. However, you do get a high resolution selfie shooter of 20MP.
The highlights of Xiaomi Pocophone F1:
● Value for your money
● Strong performance with 6GB RAM
● Liquid Cool technology
● 4000mAh battery
5. Huawei Nova 3: the ultimate camera phone - $369.99
The Huawei Nova 3 is a premium looking device. It comes with a 3D glass curved back just like the Huawei P20 flagship — and you have the beautiful purple blue gradient to complete the look. On the inside, there is the Kirin 970 processor with AI computing capabilities making the CPU even more efficient. The display is 6.3 inches with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 pixels — good enough to make the phone a very strong media device. The main highlight of the model, however, are the four cameras. That's right, the Huawei Nova 3 comes with not just two but four cameras: 6 MP (f/1.8) + 24 MP B/W (f/1.8) on the back and 24 MP + 2 MP on the front.
The cameras, naturally, come with AI functionality: the rear cam detects over 500 scenes and comes with HDR preview. The selfie shooter comes with Portrait Mode and is also responsible for the phone's secure Face Unlock.
The highlights of Huawei Nova 3:
● Four cameras
● 3D curved glass back, gradient color
● Powerful processor
● Large screen
● Face Unlock
6. Vivo Nex: the boldest design - $639.99
Last but not least, if you want to try out something entirely different, consider the Vivo Nex. The phone has made quite a bit of noise earlier this year thanks to its innovative notch-less design. The selfie cam on the Vivo Nex slides out from the top panel of the phone when you need to take a picture adding an interesting mechanical component to the process of taking a selfie.
However, note that with the fancy new movement, the cameras themselves are not quite as impressive as in some of the models we've covered in this list: you get 12.0MP + 5.0MP rear camera and an 8.0MP front camera.
With that, you do get a very large screen - 6.59 inches with the resolution of 2316 x 1080 pixels. The absence of the notch at the top part of the screen will also be a notable plus for many.
On the inside, you get the popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU clocking at 2.8GHZ. Then, there is the impressive combo of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Vivo Nex is also the most expensive smartphone in our list, so catching it at a discount would be an opportunity not to miss.
The highlights of Vivo Nex:
● Pop up selfie camera
● Super large display with no notch
● Strong performance with GB RAM
● Jovi AI Assistant
So, there you have it. Six stunning phones ready to be unleashed on GearBest with great discounts thanks to the 11.11 extravaganza. Study the market and don't miss the chance to get a phone of your dreams — you won't get another opportunity like that till next year!
