What is the best camera phone on GearBest?

They say that the best camera is the one you have with you. And since only the chosen few of us have the luxury of traveling with a DSLR on a daily basis, why don’t you choose a best camera phone alternatively.
The Huawei P9's camera is impressive for three reasons. One, it was designed in collaboration with one of the world's most prestigious photography brands, Leica. Two, it comes with a dual lens. One lens is used as an RGB sensor to capture color, the other features a monochrome sensor to acquire detail. The result is an image with more depth, detail and color. And three, there is a wide set of features and controls for the camera.
The Huawei P9 comes with a pair of 12MP cameras delivering 3968×2976 images.
Major improvements have been made to the shutter speed and you can activate Camera Mode by just pressing the power button.
Another great feature is the ability to pick different points for focus and exposure (most phones only let you have one). This way, you can focus the shot on one object while bringing more light to another.
With P9's camera, you will also have the Pro Mode. In Pro Mode you will be able to make a variety of manual adjustments, typically unavailable for phone cameras: adjust ISO, shutter speed, exposure compensation, white balance, auto focus and more. Besides Pro Mode, you will also have Panorama, Night Shot, Beauty Video, Light Painting, Time Lapse and Slow Mo. What's more, the P9, knowing that you will probably be taking great photos with you camera, has added a Watermark feature so that your photos are protected from unauthorized use.
OnePlus prides itself on having one of the best cameras on the market. Just like Huawei, OnePlus has opted for the dual camera scenario for this model: you get the standard 16MP plus an additional 20MP telephoto lens. This allows for the "DSLR effect": you can take images with shallow depth of field and blurry background (yes, just like with the latest iPhone 7 Plus). The telephoto lens comes with a fixed 1.6x optical zoom (digitally enhanced to 2x) which offers even more options for photo composition.
One place where the camera excels even over the more expensive models is taking pictures in low light: the wider f1.7 aperture lets more light into the frame and special OnePlus processing technology does the rest. More light, in turn, ensures a more accurate white balance and sharper focus. You will have all the standard photo modes at your disposal: Portrait Mode, Pro Mode, Panorama as well as HDR, Raw Image and others.
The front cam is 16MP and allows for really good quality selfies: with fine details and a nice set of beautification modes. With the camera's dual lenses, bokeh effect and resolutions for both rear and front shooters, the One Plus 5G is often compared to Google Pixel.
The Vernee Apollo 4G has been repeatedly praised by reviewers on the camera front. Unlike most Chinese models within the same price range, the smartphone features a 21MP rear camera with a 1/2.4in Sony IMX230 sensor. You get a dual-tone LED flash, 0.1s phase-detection autofocus and f/2.2 aperture. You will also be able to record video in 4K at 30 frames per second and then save these videos in H.265 format.
The camera comes with a set of real-time filters, but you will not find the same generous selection of shooting modes as with the Huawei P9 or OnePlus 5G: just Auto, Panorama, HDR and Burst Mode (40 shots). You will find more control options under Settings allowing you to make modifications to ISO, white balance, exposure and more.
The front camera comes with 8MP. You will be able to apply real time filters to your selfies as well as shoot in HDR Mode and Beauty Mode.
Much like the Huawei P9, the Elephone P8 is advertised as a camera phone. And there's good reason for that with the phone's 21MP dual back camera and a 16MP front shooter. The phone's selfie camera is positioned as offering a truly different selfie taking experience thanks something called Soft Selfie Flash - by providing your pictures with natural soft light, the camera brings out balanced skin tones and results in a more vibrant portrait shot. But there's more: with the Night Selfie Algorithm, the front camera is also capable of producing great results in low light.
On the back, you have a 21MP dual camera capable of fine detail and bokeh effect. The rear camera is good at reproducing realistic colors in daylight. Low light performance has been rated as satisfactory - but not quite as that of the Huawei P9, which, of course, is reflected in the price difference.
The Ulefone T1 4G is known as the "budget dual camera phone". Priced at $249.49, the smartphone comes with a 16MP + 5MP dual rear camera sporting the Samsung S5K3P3 sensor and a two-tone flash (4 LEDs). With this set-up, the budget phone is capable of giving your photos that bokeh effect and fast auto-focus ensure easy picture taking, without a long delay.
On the front, you have a selfie powerhouse (for a phone at this price). The front cam is 8MP (interpolated 13MP) and comes with Soft Selfie Flash (just like the Elephone P8 above). The soft light brings out natural skin tones and vivid colors in your selfies as well as enables better quality in low light conditions.
