Resource from Android China on November 7th, the global brand giant, Xiaomi has just released its first ever mouse, the Xiaomi Mi Mouse. With its typically premium design language, Xiaomi offers the peripheral at a very wallet-friendly price of just 99 RMB – equal to around $14.
The surface of the Xiaomi Mi Mouse is manufactured from aluminum alloy, the same anodic oxidation technology utilized to create the Apple Macbook. This ensures much higher durability compared to competing peripherals.
Besides that, the mouse buttons are made of ABS material. Including the battery, the Mi Mouse weighs 77.5g (2.7oz); the form factor is incredibly thin, light, and portable.
The design of the mouse bottom places the function key, indicator light, and locating groove are lined up in serial fashion. The design of the foot pad is optimized for resistance.
The Mi Mouse supports Bluetooth 4.0 and RF 2.4GHz dual connection modes, and because of this, it can be connected to two computers at the same time (one mode per computer).
It sports an advanced Nordic 51822 Bluetooth processor, with low power consumption. One Xiaomi official claimed that the Xiaomi mouse was equipped with a high accuracy photoelectric sensor allowing the mouse to work equally well on frosted glass, A4 paper, or even cloth.
