Xiaomi eyes CES 2017 for major product launch

By  GB Blog Official 2016-12-06 662 0

The global tech titan, Xiaomi, will be heading out in a few weeks to the flagship CES event at Las Vegas. Remarkably, this will actually mark its debut appearance at the prestigious event. As befitting such an occasion, Xiaomi announced that it will be releasing a brand new product at CES starting on January 5, 2017.

We anticipate that this highly-anticipated product launch will add to Xiaomi's already rising star on the international scene.

Just two months ago, Xiaomi's TV box was launched on the American market and is already available on Xiaomi's official USA website, the Walmart supermarket and the official Walmart.com website.

Xiaomi's desire to push the tech envelope is further evidenced by a patent report published by Richardson Oliver Law Group LLP, stating that there were a total of 772 patent packages sold in 2016 covering 11000 patents.

The report highlighted that Xiaomi, along with Huawei, were individually responsible for purchasing a significant number of patents from the USA market. This clearly underscores a firm commitment to develop more state-of-the-art consumer electronic devices for the mass market.
