3 steps to turn on Xiaofang IP camera’s IR night vision
You want to capture clear images in the darkness with the Xiaomi Xiaofang 1080P smart IP camera? Turn on the IR night vision first! Follow the steps to turn on the feature.
IR night vision feature must be one of the greatest feature for an IP camera. As a mini personal use IP camera, Xiaomi Xiaofang 1080P smart IP camera equips this feature, which much improves the camera's performance and facilitates the users to capture the images in the darkness. But you need to turn on the IR night vision feature firstly, let's see how to do it.
Step 1. Launch the Mi Home app. On the My Device interface, tap your connected Xiaomi Xiaofang 1080P smart IP camera to enter its control interface.

Step 2. On the camera control interface, tap the right top round menu button. Then you will see different options there.
● For the AP mode connection IP camera, there are Discovery, Advance Settings, and Version options listed here.
● For the Remote mode connection IP camera, there are Discovery, Record, Advance Settings, General Settings, and Version.
Step 3. No matter which connection mode it is, choose the Advance Settings option. In this setting, turn on the Night Vision feature there.

Now the Xiaomi Xiaofang's IR night vision feature is activated. When the environmental brightness gets dark, or in the complete darkness, the light-sensitive sensor of the Xiaomi Xiaofang IP camera will respond to light changes. Two IR lights will light and the camera will automatically switch to the IR night vision mode, so that the camera can capture objects in the darkness clearly.
