Phablet
Phablet is a term commonly used to describe a gadget that combines the capabilities of smartphones and tablets. Phablet is a class of smart phones that has a screen size between 5 and 7 inches and is designed to incorporate or complement the functions of smart phones and tablets.
Although larger than a smart phone, phablet tend to be smaller and thinner than the tablet, making it convenient to carry. Phablet usually used for mobile web access and multimedia, including activities that require a large screen. In a series of Samsung Galaxy Note, phablet has special software that allows the stylus features sketches, and notes.
The phablets grew increasingly popular in 2012, as a successor to the original Galaxy Note, along with the falling costs and increasing power efficiency of smartphone displays, began to fuel competition in the market from other smartphone manufacturers, including Lenovo, LG, HTC, Huawei, Micromax, and Sony.
Dumb Phone
Bar phone, old school phone, retro phone, flip phone, dumb phones have many names, but the technical term is a feature phone. It is a 2G device all our phone-bearing forefathers happily used throughout in the 90s and most of the 2000s. They can range from straight-up call, SMS and torch (if you are lucky) to camera, music player and basic internet / email connectivity. No apps, no social media, and no drama.
Feature phones are marketed as a low-end mobile phone in contrast to modern smartphones. Nowadays, feature phones are primarily specific to niche markets or have become merely a preference, for instance, in the United States some people favor feature phones over smartphones for the reason of simplicity.
Smartphone
A smartphone is a class of mobile devices with computer-like functionality. These devices sport advanced mobile operating system and have a platform for application developers.
Currently, the two major smartphone platforms in use are Android (by Google) and iOS (by Apple). An application written for a specific platform can usually work on any smartphone using the same platform.
Applications for smartphones are also faster and better integrated with the phone's UI than Java applications. Smartphones have larger displays and faster processors than so-called feature phones or dumb phones.
Smartphone is featuring a phone call, SMS, web browsing, media player, video game and so on. Smartphone, typically are pocket-sized, usually have varying screen sizes, from 3 inches to 5 inches, for example, Samsung Galaxy Mini, Motorola RAZR and similar products.
Watch Phone
Watch phone is a smartwatch with functions that is more than timekeeping. Watch phone does not mean giving up any of the features you want and enjoy in a full size model. Most of the smart watches has more functionality than traditional watches including the possibility to serve the web, read emails, MP3 and MP4 media players, Bluetooth and even take pictures in high quality. Our selection of watch phones are GSM cellular phones that can be used worldwide.
No phone is more convenient than one that is always at your finger tips, so watch phone is a great item for active people that do not want to have to carry a phone in their pocket. The watch phone is sooner or later going mainstream.
