A new simple way to install Google Apps (GMS) on Huawei Mate 30 (Pro)

By  Goraud Mazanec 2019-10-09 11111 0

Due to sanctions from the US, Huawei company was deprived of the opportunity to officially install Google services and applications on its new smartphones, including the flagship Huawei Mate 30. However, users are looking for ways to install the Google Play Store on the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro themselves. Last week, the method of circumventing the sanctions with the help of a third-party LZ Play application was closed. But there is no such thing as empty space and a new way was invented.

Steps to install Google Apps (GMS) on Huawei Mate 30 (Pro) via HiSuite backup

The new workaround for getting Google Apps on Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro was revealed in the community of mobile developers XDA Developers. It is quite simple, as well as everything ingenious. Let’s show you the detailed steps:

Note:

1. The Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro phones still failed to pass the Safety Net authentication, but it doesn’t affect the normal use of GMS.

2. We are not responsible for any possible risks of this method.

Step 1. Back up the files of Huawei Mate 30 or Mate 30 Pro to HiSuite on a PC and do a factory reset of the phone. (If there is no Huawei HiSuite App on your PC, you can download it from the  Huawei official web).

Step 2. Download and install two Google Apps with the file name of "Google APKs.7z" and "HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro_2019-10-04 17.00.14".

Step 3. Unzip the file "Google APKs.7z" and install it on the Huawei Mate 30 or Mate 30 Pro.

Step 4. Unzip the file "HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro_2019-10-04 17.00.14" to "HiSuite backup" folder on the PC.

Step 5. Restore the backup to your phone and ensure that you also restore the system settings on your phone.

Step 6. After all the backup files are restored on your phone, you need to restart your Huawei Mate 30 or Mate 30 Pro.

Step 7. Go to the "Application Settings" and delete all the data of Google applications you have installed, and grant all the permissions they require.

Step 8. Restart the Huawei Mate 30 or Mate 30 Pro smartphone, then connect it to the internet and launch the Google Play Store.

XDA says this restore method will not lose user data, but SafetyNet will still fail and may continue to fail until the political situation improves. Currently, if you want to install Google Apps on a new device, the best option is to adopt this new solution.
