Amkov AMK7000S action camera troubleshooting guide

When your Amkov AMK7000S action camera meets booting, screen, TF card, noise, or WiFi connection issues, please read this fixing guide, which can help you to solve these issues.

Booting issues

● The camera may drain out the battery, simply charge it through its original USB power cable. Usually when the camera connects to the power source, it will automatically power on. If not, just wait for a while to let it charge for several minutes.

● After a long time charging, if the camera still cannot be powered on, check the indicator light lights or not, if not, maybe the USB cable is broken. Change another working USB cable to charge it.

● If yes, the battery might have something wrong. Maybe it's oxidized, you can use a cotton swab with some anhydrous alcohol to wipe the battery's metal pin. If it's useless as well, the other possible reason should be the battery is broken or the camera's charging component is broken.

● No matter it's because that the battery is broken or the hardware is damaged, the best way is to contact the after-sales service for more help. Maybe purchase a new original battery or send it back the factory to check and repair.

● The tempered system error will cause this issue. Don't worry, simply power off the camera and then launch it again to see whether it works.

The wrong class TF card and screen factors may cause this issue.

● Check whether the TF card you use in this camera is class 10 TF card or not, if not, the card may not be compatible with this device well, so that the image color may become like this.

● After that, if the screen still cannot show the normal color image, maybe the screen's flat cable is loosened or is in bad contact. Or the screen is damaged. Please take it to a digital product repair center to check and repair.

TF card, noise, WiFi issues

● Maybe it's because the bad contact between the TF card and the card slot. Simply pull the card out and then reinsert it back into the slot.

● If the solution doesn't work, please check whether there is any obstacles inside the card slot. Try to clean it.

● Check the TF card, whether it's a class 10 TF card, if not, the camera is easy to crash.

● Also, check whether the TF card is in good condition or not. Use an eraser to rub the chip, and insert it into a USB card reader and connect the reader to a PC to check whether the card can be detected. If yes, it means the card is OK; if not, the card is damaged, please change a high speed TF card, such as Mingsford 64GB high speed TF card, Samsung UHS-1 64GB TF card, or MIXZA TOHAOLL SDHC 64GB TF card. And remember to format the card before using.

● When you turn on the camera's WiFi feature, the LED light near the WiFi button will flash, which means the WiFi signal is successfully released.
