How to fix ASUS AURA not working?
It is a good idea to restart your computer before performing any of the suggested troubleshooting steps listed below. This will refresh the operating system and delete any corrupted temporary data that may cause problems.
From corrupted installation files to conflicts with other lighting software, several factors can cause this particular problem. Listed below are the troubleshooting steps required to resolve this issue.
● Try disabling fast startup
Fast startup is a feature that allows Windows 10 to start faster from the off state. This is because the computer's initial configuration is stored when it is turned off, which allows it to quickly obtain information during startup, saving time. Sometimes this can cause problems on your computer, which is why you should try to disable it.
Step 1: Press Windows + R, then type Control Panel in the box and press Enter.
Step 2: In Control Panel, select the large icon and click Power Options.
Step 3: In Power Options, click Choose the function of the power button on the left side of the screen.
Step 3: You will see an option that requires administrative rights named "Change change settings that are currently unavailable." click it.
Step 4: At the bottom of the screen, uncheck the "Turn on Quick Launch" checkbox. Save changes and remove.
Step 5: Restart your computer
● Check if ASUS Aura is not working properly.
● Reinstall Asus Aura
If the problem is caused by a corrupted installation file, reinstalling the software will resolve the problem.
Step 1: Uninstall Aura through the control panel and restart the system.
Step 2: Download the ASUS Aura software.
Step 3: Launch the executable and install the AURA application on your computer. Make sure that you do not change the default installation directory on your computer.
Step 4: After installation, restart your computer.
● Check if ASUS Aura is not working properly
● Check RGB connector connection
The RGB device may not be properly connected to the LED header on the motherboard. When this happens, the device will not light up, which will give the illusion that the software is not working properly. It is best to make sure that the LED connections are set up correctly.
● Uninstall other lighting software
If you have other lighting software installed on your computer to control the RGB lighting of other devices, you should try to uninstall it, as this may be the cause of the problem. After uninstalling other lighting software, try to check if ASUS Aura still does not work properly.
