BLUBOO Xtouch smartphone SIM card matters

The BLUBOO Xtouch smartphone won’t detect or recognize the SIM card? Find solutions to the problem in this handy SIM card problem fixing guide.

BLUBOO Xtouch smartphone 

One of the SIM cards is not detected.

Check whether the SIM card is activated: go to phone's Settings -- SIM cards -- SIM card 1 (UIM card 1) / SIM card 2 (UMI card 2) -- Activate, tick this option.

Check whether you have correctly installed the SIM card in the card slot.

Move the working SIM card to a different SIM card slot. If the SIM card is working, the problem is with one of the phone's SIM card slots. If it's not, there is probably something wrong with your SIM card and you should get a new one.

Remove the SIM card to see whether there are any obstacles inside the badly working card slot. Clean the slot. If the SIM card slot is still not functioning well, it is probably damaged. Take the phone to a phone fixing store to repair.


The phone won't recognize both SIM cards.

Check whether the SIM card is activated: Go to the phone's Settings -- SIM cards -- SIM card 1 (UIM card 1) / SIM card 2 (UMI card 2) -- Activate, tick this option.

Check whether you have correctly installed the SIM card in the card slot.

Remove the SIM cards from the phone and try using them with another phone. If both of the cards cannot be detected by another phone, the SIM cards must be broken and you should get new ones.

If they can be detected, the card slots are the source of the problem. Check the SIM card slots, make sure they are not loose and there are no obstacles in them (dirt, dust, etc.). If the slots are loose, take the phone to a repair shop to fix.

The phone won't recognize both SIM cards. 

If the card slots are fine, there must be something wrong with the phone itself. System problems could be causing the issue - try resetting your phone. Go to Settings -- Backup & reset, choose Factory data reset -- RESET PHONE. Make sure to back up all the important data prior to reset.

If the reset doesn't help, the phone's SIM card detection/recognition module hardware is probably damaged. Take it to the phone fixing store to repair or turn to the after-sales service for help.
