Fix Hubsan H501S X4 drone TF card & charging issues
That's terrible if the Hubsan H501S X4 brushless drone battery cannot be charged or fully charged, or it cannot save captured photos and videos into the TF card. But we can solve these issues, read it to know!

It cannot save captured photos/videos into the TF card.
When you want to capture the photos and videos by this drone, you need to press the camera or the video record button. And you must install a TF card / Micro SD card into the drone. Then the captured photos and videos will be automatically saved in the TF card.
If you have installed a TF card for the drone and also operate the right way, but the drone cannot save photos and videos as well, please refer to the below reasons and solutions:
1. The TF card's storage is full.
Remove the card from the drone and use a USB card reader to connect it to the PC to check whether the storage is full or not, if yes, copy the contents to the PC to empty the card. Then insert it back into the drone. Therefore, the card will work normally.
2. The TF card's format is not correct or the card is broken.
Take the card out of the drone, use an eraser to rub the card's pin or simply change another TF card to have a try.
The TF card's speed is too slow. So please change another high speed TF card to have a try, such as the Toshiba Exceria 64GB TF card, REMAX 64GB Micro SDXC SD memory card, or MIXZA TOHAOLL SDHC 64GB TF card. And remember to format the card before using.
3. The transmitter/remote controller is broken.
If you have a backup transmitter, you can try to bind it to the drone and to capture the photos or videos. If it works, it means the transmitter has something wrong, maybe it's damaged. You can take it to a drone store or a digital product fixing center to check and repair. Or you can contact the after-sales service to send it back the factory to repair.
4. The camera or related component is broken.
After you use another backup transmitter to shoot the photos or videos, the captured contents cannot save to the TF card automatically as well, then we can make sure it's a hardware issue. Maybe the camera or some related components are damaged. You can take it to a drone store or a digital product fixing center to check and repair. Or you can contact the after-sales service to send it back the factory to repair.
The H501S X4 drone battery cannot be charged.
Generally, when the drone battery is being charged, the power charger light will become red. Once the battery is fully charged, the light will turn to green. If the battery cannot be charged, the reasons must be one of the following ones:
1. The power charger is broken.
When you are charging the battery, the power charger indicator light doesn't light, it means the charger might be broken.
2. The battery is damaged.
Before you charge the battery, use an electroprobe to test the battery's voltage. Then start to charge the battery. After some time, test voltage again. If the voltage improved, the battery can be normally charged. If no changes, no power has been charged inside. Please stop charging it and contact the after-sales service for help.
3. The drone's electric cable is broken.
The H501S X4 drone battery cannot be fully charged.
Generally, when the drone battery is being charged, the power charger light will become red. Once the battery is fully charged, the light will turn to green. And the battery voltage should be 8.4V.
● You can use an electroprobe to test the battery's voltage to judge whether it's fully charged or not. Do not judge it just according to the charging time.
● If the voltage is 8.4V, it means no power is charged into the battery. Please refer to the answer of the last question.
