Fix Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X phablet network & booting issues

● Check if you have inserted the SIM card correctly. If you are not sure, you can uninstall the SIM card and re-install it in the SIM card slot. Then, reboot your handset to check if the problem disappears.
● It may be caused by your SIM card problems. Try inserting the SIM card into another smartphone to check if the problem persists. If so, your SIM card may be faulty. Try switching to another SIM card.
● The signal in your area may be weak, or there may be signal interferences around you. Try taking your smartphone to an open area (such as a balcony or terrace) to check if it a signal appears.
● You may have accidentally switched to Airplane Mode. If so, switch the Airplane Mode off.
● Try rebooting your handset and see if the problem resolves itself.
● If there is a problem with 3G or 4G coverage in your area, go to Settings - SIM cards & mobile networks - Network mode - select 2G only or GSM only.
● You can also try flashing your Redmi Note 4X to the latest firmware.
● Sometimes, updating the firmware can help solve this problem, so you can try updating your Redmi Note 4X's firmware.
● Check if your phone has enough memory space, or if there are many apps running in the background at the same time. If so, clear your phone's cache regularly and close the apps not in use.
● The problem may be caused by a third-party app. Try uninstalling recently installed apps to see if things get back to normal. We also suggest you download apps from official stores, such as Google Play Store.
● Check if there is any malware or virus invading your smartphone. You can use antivirus software to check and get rid of malicious programs or apps.
● There is a possibility that the version of Android you are using is corrupt. If so, you can try performing a factory reset on your phone by following the steps below. But do remember to back up all the important data to your computer before resetting the phone, as all data will be wiped during the process.
a. Hold the power key and the volume up key at the same time until the phone vibrates for a while and the Main Menu pops up.
b. Use the volume up/down key to select "Wipe Data".
c. Press the power key to confirm. Then, the phone will enter Wipe Data interface.
d. Use power key to confirm "Wipe All Data".
e. Then, "Data Wiped Successfully" will pop up on the screen.
f. Use the power key to confirm "Back to Main Menu", then confirm "Reboot" - "Reboot to System". The phone will take a few minutes to reboot.
● If none of the above works, the problem could be the result of some hardware issues. In this case, the only workable option is to take your phone to a repair store or contact our after-sales service to ask for further help.
● The flashing red light may indicate low power, so we suggest you charge your handset for at least 5 minutes and then reboot it.
● There may be something wrong with the phone battery's indicator, you can try performing a factory reset when the phone is charged.
Note: make sure to back up all the important data to your computer, as all the information will be erased during the resetting.
Once you have backed up your phone, follow these steps to restore your phone:
a. Hold the power key and volume up key at the same time until the phone vibrates for a while and the Main Menu pops up.
b. Use the volume up/down key to select "Wipe Data".
c. Press the power key to confirm. Then, the phone will enter the Wipe Data interface.
d. Use the power key to confirm "Wipe All Data".
e. Then, you will see "Data Wiped Successfully" pop up on the screen.
f. Use the power key to confirm navigation "Back to Main Menu", then confirm "Reboot" - "Reboot to System". It will take a few minutes to reboot.
