How to change your NAT type on Xbox One
By Jordan Hobbs 2019-06-03 1371 0
Which ports should I open on Xbox One?
Here is the list of ports to open on Xbox One (there are more than on Xbox 360):
Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)
Once these ports are open, restart your router or Internet box and see if your NAT has changed from Strict to Open.
We don't know if this is a coincidence or not, but for us, the chat problems on Xbox One were solved afterwards and we can now chat without any problem. Having an "open" NAT ensures that the connection between our console and the rest of the world is optimal.
