How to make a screenshot on Macbook?
Following are detailed steps to make a screenshot on Macbook.
Capture the entire screen on the Macbook
Step 1: Press the "Command" + "Shift" + "3" keys simultaneously.
Step 2: That will save a copy of your screen to your clipboard. You can alternatively press the same combination without the "Command" key in order to save the image as a .png file to your desktop.
Capture a window on the Macbook
Step 1: Press Shift-Command-4 simultaneously.
Step 2: Press the Space bar. The pointer changes to a camera.
Step 3: Click a window to capture that window.
To exclude the window's shadow from the screenshot, press and hold the Option (⌥) key while you click.
Step 4: Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.
Capture a selected part of the screen on the Macbook
Step 1: Press Shift-Command-4.
Step 2: Drag to select the area of the screen to capture. To move the entire selection, press and hold space bar while dragging.
Step 3: After you release your mouse or trackpad button, find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.
Capture a menu on the Macbook
Step 1: Click the menu to reveal its contents.
Step 2: Press Shift-Command-4.
Drag to select the area of the menu to capture, and then release your mouse or track pad button to capture that area. Or press Space bar to change the pointer to a camera, and then click the menu to capture it.
Step 3: Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.
How to make a screenshot on iPad?
Step 1: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device.
Step 2: Quickly click the Home button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: You’ll find your screenshot in the Camera Roll, which is inside the "Albums" area of your Photos app.
Step 4: Release both buttons.
How to make a screenshot on iPhone X/XR/XS?
How do you take screenshots with iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone XS if it doesn't have a Home button? As easily as ever!
Step 1: Press and hold the Side button on the right side of iPhone X or iPhone XS or iPhone XR.
Step 2: Click the Volume Up button at the exact same time. (This replaces the Home button step from previous iPhones.)
Step 3: The screen will flash white and you'll hear the camera shutter sound (if your sound is enabled).
