By GB Blog Official 2018-07-03 4802 1
The most popular models of each brand are the Huawei Mate 9, Vivo X9 and the Xiaomi Redmi 4. One of the most popular features is taking a quick screenshot, however some users may be unaware of how to perform this special function on these models.
Today, we will show readers how to do a quick screenshot on the Huawei Mate 9, Vivo X9, and Xiaomi Redmi 4. If you do not own one of these phones, don't worry - you can still learn the most common methods and try them on your own phone.
Huawei Mate 9
Method 1: press "Power" and "Volume" buttons
As with most Android phones, Huawei Mate 9 utilizes a quick shortcut to capture the screen. Go to the screen you want to grab, then hold the power button and volume buttons at the same time - it's that easy!
Method 2: use the shortcut
Enter the screen you want to capture, then drag your finger from the top edge down to show the notifications bar. Tap on the Screenshot option.
Method 3: use smart screenshots / screen recording
From the Settings menu → Motion control → Smart screenshots → Screen control: On. Now, all you need to do is knock twice firmly with your knuckle to take a screenshot or draw an enclosed region with your knuckle to capture that part of the screen. You can also knock twice firmly with two knuckles together to start/stop recording a video clip of your onscreen actions.

Vivo X9
Method 1: press "power" and "Home" buttons together
Unlike the Huawei Mate 9's screenshot button combination, the Vivo X9 requires you to press the Power button and the physical Home button at the same time to capture a quick screenshot.
Method 2: super screenshot shortcut
The Vivo X9 runs on the Android 6.0-based Futouch 3.0 OS which offers full screenshot functionality: long screenshot, square screenshot, funny screenshot, and screen recording. At the screen you want to grab, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to see a special shortcut menu; tap on the Super screenshot option.
Xiaomi Redmi 4
Method 1: press "Home" button and "Volume Down" button together
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 can do screen grabs if you press the "Home" button and "Volume Down" button together.
Method 2: shortcut
Enter the screen you want to capture, then drag your finger from the top edge down to show the notifications bar. Tap on the Screenshot option.
Method 3: use a third party screenshot app
You can download a screenshot app from Google Play store to manually capture screens, e.g. Xiaomi Assistant. However, this is not always straightforward and the two methods listed above are faster and more convenient.
