How to set the WiFi blacklist and whitelist of Huawei 4G Route 2?
Method 1: set up
1 through the management page, connect the computer to the Wi-Fi of Huawei 4G Route 2 (or connect the computer to the LAN interface of Huawei 4G routing).
2, enter 192.168.8.1 in the address bar of the mobile phone or computer browser to log in to the management page of Huawei 4G Route 2, and enter the login password of the management page to enter the management page (the following figure takes the computer interface as an example, the mobile phone interface is similar).
3, choose the advanced setting > WLAN > WLAN MAC address filtering. Turn on the WLAN MAC address filter switch. Select the filter method to prohibit or allow, and then click +.
Note: The filtering mode is "prohibited", that is, blacklist mode, in which devices added to the list cannot connect to the Wi-Fi of Huawei 4G Route 2.
The filtering method is "allow", that is, whitelist mode, in which only devices added to the list can connect to the Wi-Fi of Huawei 4G Route 2.
4. Select the Wi-Fi terminal device you want to add to the blacklist or whitelist in the drop-down list of device names, and the MAC address bar will automatically adapt the corresponding MAC address, and then click OK.
5. After adding, you can see the device you just added in the WLAN MAC address list. Click Save, and your settings will take effect.
If you don't want to use the blacklist or whitelist feature, just turn off the WLAN MAC address filter switch.
If you want to remove a device from the blacklist or whitelist, click the icon after the device information in the WLAN MAC address list.
Method 2: set
1 through Huawei smart home App and connect to the Wi-Fi of Huawei 4G Route 2.
2, open the Huawei smart home APP, in the mobile phone and log in to the Huawei account bound to Huawei 4G Route 2.
3, click on the Huawei 4G route 2 you want to set on the home page.
4, select the device, find and click on the device you want to block in the online device list, turn off the allowed connection Wi-Fi switch of the device, and block the device from connecting to the Wi-Fi of your Huawei 4G Route 2.
Note: The device marked "[oneself] XXX" in the online device list is used to log in to Huawei Smart Home App, and the device cannot be blocked.
5. After blocking the device, you can return to the device page and view the blocked device in the blacklist device list.
If you want to remove the device from the blacklist, find and click the device you want to remove from the blacklist in the list of blacklisted devices, and turn on the allow connection Wi-Fi switch.
If you have set the whitelist mode on the management page of Huawei 4G Route 2, you can add the device to the whitelist when you enable the Wi-Fi switch for allowing connections to a device, and disable it to remove the device from the whitelist.
