Do you know how to set up WhatsApp Web on your iPhone? Here is the setting way for you.

What is WhatsApp Messenger?

WhatsApp is one of the most well-known and most popular cross-platform chat applications in the world today.

It's free and easy to use, with plenty of functionality (file send, images, group chat, etc.) – basically, it has everything a chat program needs.

Using WhatsApp Web gives a vastly superior user experience and ultimately unlocks the full potential of Whatsapp:

● You can multi-task on your PC/Mac without dealing with multiple devices.

● Typing on a keyboard is much easier than using the mobile equivalent.

● Files on your PC/Mac can be transferred to your mobile device quickly.

● Same great flexibility and options: emoji, attachments, wallpaper, and more.

● You still get message notifications.

How to download Whatsapp Messenger on your PC? (only support Windows and MacOS)

Just now I mentioned WhatsApp Web, but what is the thing? As the name indicates, WhatsApp Messenger is an APP on mobile clients, WhatsApp Web is a web client which simply an extension of your phone: the web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device—this means all of your messages still live on your phone.

The WhatsApp user's handset must still be connected to the Internet for the browser application to function. All major desktop browsers are supported except for Microsoft Internet Explorer. WhatsApp Web's user interface is based on the default Android one.

How to set up WhatsApp Web using your smartphone?

Step 1: update to the latest Whatsapp version (2.16.17)

While many new features require an app update, there's not a specific update available to enable WhatsApp Web. However, make sure you're already running the latest version of the app, which is currently 2.16.17 – at the time of writing.

Step 2: access the Settings menu

Open WhatsApp and access the Settings menu. There should be a new menu underneath "Tell a Friend" named "WhatsApp Web/Desktop" – tap on this new feature.

Step 3: go to the whatsapp website

On your PC or Mac, head to web.whatsapp.com. You can technically use any browser to access the client (we're using Safari), but WhatsApp actually recommends using either Google Chrome, Opera or Firefox.

Step 4: authenticate on your phone

On your iPhone, within the WhatsApp Web menu, tap "Scan QR code". Follow the instructions on your iPhone and align your QR code scanner with the QR code displayed on the WhatsApp Web website. Once aligned, you should see a pop-up on screen confirming the setup was a success – you're connected!

Step 5: you're all done!

You can now send and receive WhatsApp messages as well as access all received media (including voice notes!) on your PC or Mac. This is a huge timesaver!

As for other phones like Android phones, Windows phone, Blackberry (blackberry 10) and Nokia S60, you can also find the instructions on web.whatsapp.com. Enjoy your chatting!
