AirPods Pro Firmware Version Upgrade and Install Method
Step 1: enable your phone WiFi and Bluetooth
Step 2: pairing your AirPods Pro with your iPhone / Android / Samsung phone.
Step 3: unlock your phone and entering the "Settings" APP.
Step 4: then, choose the "General - About - AirPods Pro" to check the firmware version of your AirPods Pro and get upgrade.
Step 5: Wait 15 minutes or so to give your phone enough time to download the firmware, verify it and send the update wirelessly to your AirPods.
Step 6: Once the software update has installed, check your AirPods Pro firmware version by opening the charging case so that the connected graphics appears on your iPhone, then tap "Settings - General - About - AirPods Pro".
Updating AirPods Pro firmware is similar to refreshing the software on your Apple Watch, meaning it happens through your Phone. That’s because AirPods Pro cannot retrieve software updates on their own as they don’t have Wi-Fi circuitry built-in.
In most cases, any available update will install without you having to do a thing. If the firmware update does not happen in the background eventually, here’s how you can manually update the software on your AirPods Post.
