No sound on Xiaomi Mi Box S when watching video, how to fix it?

Method 1:Make sure that there is no problem with the data line
Step 1: Please unplug both ends of the HDMI cable and re-plug it;
Step 2: Change a set of HDMI interfaces;
Step 3: Unplug the power supply of the set-top box and try again.
Step 4: Do not plug in the HDMI cable and AV cable at the same time; connect the HDMI cable.
Method 2: Make sure that the audio settings are no problem
Step 1: Open home page and select the settings in the APP.
Step 2: Select the sound settings.
Step 3: In the sound settings, there will be three options: notification sound, HDMI transparent transmission and SPDIF transparent transmission; Turn notification sound and HDMI transparent transmission, close SPDIF transparent transmission.
Method 3: Restore factory settings
Step 1: Enter the homepage of the Xiaomi Mi Box S and select the application;
Step 2: Select "Settings" in the application and press OK;
Step 3: Enter the setup page, use the arrow keys to select the "About" at the bottom and press the OK button;
Step 4: Enter the "About" interface, select the second "Restore Factory Status", a selection box will pop up, there will be a prompt: Restore the factory settings will clear all the data and settings on your TV, please be careful. Select "Confirm Restore" to be OK;
Step 5: After selecting and confirming the restore, the set-top box will automatically restart and enter the system recovery mode, and wait patiently.
Method 4: Make sure the program source no problem
If there is a problem with the source of the program being broadcasted, there will be a situation where there is no sound on the screen. Therefore, it is recommended that the sofa housekeeper install the genuine software on the TV box, and this problem will not occur.
