WiFi problems and solutions
You can not deny that whenever you go to a family member, friend, mall or in a bar, one of the first things you do is ask for the network password to be able to communicate, and surely you have happened on occasion, that you could not connect because of certain errors shown in the configuration or simply because the mobile phone does not want to connect to the network, so I will show you seven tricks so you can solve the problems with WiFi connection on your mobile.
Obtaining IP Address
If you get this message, most likely you have typed the wrong network password, to fix it simply select the network and click on forget or delete password, then retype the password correctly. If your problem has not been solved may be that the router or server has given us a fixed IP address and perhaps another device is using, for that, disconnect WiFi and turn it back on, if you see that the problem persists turn off the router for a few seconds and reconnect, with this we will get the router to give you a different address.
Connection saved but not connected
This problem can also be caused by mistyping your password, try retyping it. If the problem persists, it may be because the network has WEP configuration and many Android phones do not connect because WEP networks are not secure, this is changed by entering the router configuration and setting for example the WPA configuration.

To solve this problem you must go to the WiFi settings on the mobile (Settings > Network connections) and press for a long time on the network to which you want to connect. Then select 'Modify network' and activate the advanced options. In 'IPv4 settings' you have to change the protocol to 'static IP' and make sure that DNS 1 is 8.8.8.8 and DNS 2 is 8.8.4.4. As a last option you can reset the factory settings of your phone.
Connection disabled or bad connection
This problem can appear because it is far from the network and also because of the collapse of the DHCP protocol, which distributes IP networks to devices. As in the previous case, go to 'IPv4 Settings'. In the section 'IPv4 address' you will have to change the number after the last point to one that is not occupied. In 'Gateway' and 'DNS 1' you can test with the IP of the router or 192.168.1.254.
Slow WiFi
When the network connection is slow when accessing applications, to browse or download, it can be for several reasons: the first because your mobile is making or running applications that consume network resources in the background and takes away speed from the Internet, for that, you go to Google Play, Dropbox, Mega, Photos, etc.. To check that you are not downloading applications or uploading content through these apps, because, if you have a few megs of speed, you will go quite slow. If you have some of these applications working, you cancel the task and that's it.
Another common reason that WiFi is slow is because the router is too far away and the range of the network is too little, for this the most basic option is to get as close to the WiFi router as possible or you can also buy a repeater signal with the will have more range to the network.
Does not connect to your WiFi network
Many times it can happen that the signal is collapsed, for it, it will be enough to change the frequency of our WiFi to a different band and that is not collapsed. It can also work by restarting the router or the device we want to connect.
Does not detect the WiFi network
If you can't find the network from the settings, then you have to try with another network, if it connects us, it can happen that it is a defect of the router's antenna or of the mobile if it doesn't connect you from any other network. In order to solve it you have to resort to the guarantee or some technical service.
