Solve MJX X101 2.4G quadcopter problems

By  GB Blog Official 2018-04-19 1118 3

Follow this troubleshooting guide to fix MJX X101 2.4G drone problems, like the drone cannot fly, drops off while flying, its propeller spins slowly or totally doesn’t spin.

MJX X101 2.4G quadcopter

Check whether the propeller is installed too tight on the electric motor. If yes, please adjust the tightness (loosen it) and then check whether it can spin normally.

Uninstall the propeller and check whether its electric motor works, if yes, the propeller has something wrong. Simply change another blade.

If the motor doesn't work, please take off the drone case to check whether the electronic motor cable connects to the main circuit board well or the shaft gear installs well. If not, just fix it in an RC store. If yes, the motor is damaged, please change a new one.

Place the MJX X101 quadcopter on a horizontal surface, pull the throttle lever to the right down corner and the direction lever to the left down corner at the same time. This time the indicator of the aircraft will be flashing quickly, and then loosen all the actions on the transmitter and wait till the indicator shows eternal bright and the calibration is successfully finished.

However, if you tried all above steps, but the propeller still can't spin, its electric motor must be damaged. You can take it to an RC shop to check and repair or change the component.

Calibrate your drone again.

A. Make sure that your drone and transmitter have enough power.

B. Open the MJX X101 drone first, then open its transmitter.

C. Place the quadcopter on a horizontal surface to prepare for calibration.

D. Keep the throttle to the bottom, pull it to the top position and then back to the bottom quickly. E. After that, you will hear"di di di"sound, wait for a while and the calibration is successfully finished.

Check whether the propeller is installed improperly or too tight on the electric motor. If yes, please adjust the tightness (loosen it) and then check whether it can spin normally.

Maybe the gear of the propeller gets stuck, simply add some lubricating oil for them.

Change a new propeller to try if it spins in the same speed as other propellers. Or else, you should change a motor for the MJX X101 quadcopter.

There are many reasons that cause the MJX X101 drops off while flying and you can solve the problem according to them.

The drone is lack of battery power. Just fully charge your MJX drone before flying and calibrate it in a right way:

There is signal interference around your drone. Choose a wild place outside, where haven't obstacles and high voltage wires, to fly the drone.

Maybe you have installed the propellers in wrong places. Before installing the propellers, please distinguish the clockwise rotor propellers and counter clockwise rotor propellers. Then make sure that the clockwise rotor propellers are installed on the clockwise motors and the counter clockwise rotor propellers are fixed at the counter clockwise motors. (Note: rotate direction of the propellers on diagonal line is the same, while is different from its neighbour propellers.)

Maybe the propellers are installed too tight if the propellers are spinning slowly. Please adjust the tightness of the propellers to make then spin normal and let your drone flies.

Maybe the drone is lack of battery power which cannot support it to take off. You need to take about 150 minutes to fully charge the batteries, then restart the MJX X101 drone and its transmitter to try again. If it still doesn't work, change a new battery to try whether the drone can fly or not.

Maybe the motor or receive board has something wrong. Try to change a new motor or receive board, or just fix it in an RC store / ask the seller for help if you don't know how to change by yourself.
