Solving common issues about Samsung Galaxy Buds

By  Adeline Kuang 2019-05-09 1198 0

This post focus on fixing Galaxy Buds common issues: charging, Bluetooth connection, sound quality, time lag and so on.

Solving common issues about Samsung Galaxy Buds

1. Galaxy Buds don't work

● The battery may be completely discharged. Fully charge the battery before using Galaxy Buds.

● If the touch sensor of the earbud does not touch the ear, the earbud may not work properly. If you are not hearing the sound of Galaxy Buds, remove Galaxy Buds from your ears and restart them.

● If the touchpad does not recognize Galaxy Buds or Galaxy Buds are not working, insert Galaxy Buds into the corresponding slots of the charging case, close the charging case, and take it out after seven seconds or more.

2. Bluetooth device can't locate your Galaxy Buds

● Turn off the charging case again and turn it on to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

● Make sure your earbuds and other Bluetooth devices are within range of the Bluetooth connection (10 m). The distance may vary depending on the environment in which the device is used.

3. Bluetooth connection is not established or earbuds are disconnected from mobile device

● Make sure there are no obstacles between the devices, such as walls or electronic devices.

● Make sure to install the latest version of the Galaxy Wearable app on your mobile device. Update the Galaxy Wearable app to the latest version if necessary.

● Make sure your earbuds and other Bluetooth devices are within range of the Bluetooth connection (10 m). The distance may vary depending on the environment in which the device is used.

● Restart your mobile device and restart the Galaxy Wearable app.

4. The battery is not charging properly (for Samsung licensed chargers)

● Make sure Galaxy Buds and the charging connectors of the charging case are in contact with each other.

● Make sure the connection between the charger and the charging case is correct.

● If the battery contacts are dirty, the battery may not charge properly. Wipe all gold connectors with a dry cloth and try charging the battery again.

5. The charging time and battery life of the two earbuds are different

● The charging time may vary even if both earbuds are charged at the same time.

● The charging time and remaining battery power of the two earbuds may differ due to internal components. The battery is running out faster than it was originally purchased

● When the Galaxy Buds or battery is exposed to extremely cold or extremely hot temperatures, the actual available charge may be reduced.

● The battery is a consumable item, and the actual available charge will become shorter over time.

6. Can't hear people talking

Adjust the volume on the connected mobile device.

7. Echo occurs during a call

Use the connected mobile device to adjust the volume or move to another area.

8. Poor sound quality of Galaxy Buds

● Wireless network services may be disabled due to service provider network issues. Be sure to keep Galaxy Buds away from electromagnetic waves.

● Make sure your earbuds are within the maximum Bluetooth range (10 m) from another Bluetooth device. The distance may vary depending on the environment in which the device is used.

● Depending on the volume of the connected device, you may experience volume or noise reduction. To avoid this, adjust the sound of the connected device as appropriate.

9. Galaxy Buds sound slower than the screen when playing videos and playing games

If Galaxy Buds are connected to a mobile device, there may be a time lag between the video and sound output when playing a video or playing a game.

10. Galaxy Buds feels hot

When you use the Galaxy Buds for a long time, you may feel hot when you touch it. This is normal and does not affect the life or performance of the Galaxy Buds. If the Galaxy Buds are overheated for a long time or feel hot, please stop using it.

11. Small gap outside Galaxy Buds

● This gap is a necessary manufacturing feature and the parts may appear slightly shaken or vibrate.

● Friction between parts may cause the gap to become slightly larger with use.
