Sub-ohm vaping: nothing but the facts

As the name implies, sub-ohm vaping deals with electricity, and this is clearly not a subject that should be taken lightly. Sub-ohm vaping utilizes the principles of Ohm's Law (I = U / R) and Joule's Law (Q = I2 x R x t) of electricity.
How sub-ohm vaping works
A common tank atomizer or clearomizer is above 1 Ω. However, with sub-ohm vaping, the atomizer coils or series of coils utilize a total measurable resistance that is less than 1.0 Ω.
According to the stated laws, a non-variable voltage device, like the battery in a mechanical vape mod will increase the overall power output (wattage/W) of your device as you decrease the resistance (ohms/Ω) of your coils.
When you decrease your resistance you will increase the amperage your device uses to supply the current needed.
This increases the strain on the battery, along with the heat that the battery and coils generate. It is absolutely crucial that sub-ohm vaping must be done safely.
The basic concept of sub-ohming originally came from rebuildable atomizers that allowed you to build your own coils on the deck.
The benefits of sub-ohm vaping
Now that legitimate sub-ohm tanks have officially arrived on the market, you can now vape at sub-ohm levels without having to resort to DIY or individual tinkering. Using a lower ohm atomizer coil will result in:
● bigger clouds
● warmer vapor
● more intense flavor
In short, sub-ohm vaping involves a resistance value less than 1.0 Ω; however, the standard resistance level is generally more than 1.0 Ω.
If you are new to the world of vaping and e-cigarettes, the sub-ohm vaping tank is not recommended although it has many benefits.
