● If the problem still persists, please take the K4000 Pro to a phone repair shop, or alternatively contact our own aftersales staff for to arrange a product return and repair.

● Firstly, ensure you are in an open area outside. Ideally, there is a clear sky (minimal cloud cover) with good visibility with few obstacles. Using the GPS function inside vehicles or buildings can interfere with the signal clarity and strength.

● When you use the GPS function, try to obtain a signal first while stationary, before using it while in motion.

● If this is the first time you have used your phone's GPS, it can take a little longer to locate a satellite and lock on to the signal, so please be patient.

● There may be a compatibility issue, try choosing a different location mode under "Settings - Location - Mode".

● Change to a different map app and see if this improves the GPS signal strength/stability.

● If none of the above methods are successful, there may be an internal hardware fault. Please contact the aftersales service and return your phone in for a factory repair.

First thing to do? Try adjusting the volume up on the standby screen to check whether the device is currently in mute mode. If there is still no sound coming from the speaker, follow these steps below:

● Determine if the problem is either hardware or software-related: you can determine this by playing a different audio track. Also try using a different audio or multimedia app.

● If the speaker is still faulty with no sound from any tracks or apps, you will need to back up your important data first and restore the phone to its factory data settings.

● If there is still no sound, your phone may have a serious hardware fault and will need to be professionally repaired. Our in-house aftersales service can arrange this on your behalf.

● Check if the SIM card has been inserted correctly and securely, try reinserting the SIM card or change to another SIM to check the problem lies with the card.

● The SIM card pins or chip might have a poor contact with the connectors, just power off the phone and remove the SIM card. Carefully wipe the chip and pins clean before reinserting the card.

● The smartphone is designed to support a dual SIM, dual standby arrangement, so you need to check if the card has been activated. Choose the following options to activate it: Settings - SIM Card Manager - SIM Card 1 (UIM1) / SIM Card 2.

● The card reader module may have failed. Please backup any important data and restore the phone to its default factory settings from Setting - Personal - touch Backup and reset option - enter your PIN, pattern, or password (If you have a screen lock) - select Backup my data and Automatic restore option - choose the Factory data reset option. When your device has fully finished the reset process, reboot your device.

● If all these fixes are unsuccessful, the most likely explanation is a damaged card slot, please contact the aftersales service staff to determine if the device needs to be returned for repair.

● Make sure the SIM card has been activated and ready to use the cellular data network.

● Remove the SIM card and try it on another phone to determine if the card itself is faulty. If there is an issue with the card, please contact the SIM card operator to reset the signal then reboot and try again.

● The OUKITEL K4000 Pro supports the FDD-LTE 800/900/1800/2100/2600MHz 4G network. Ensure your phone's network frequency is compatible with both the local overlay network and the SIM card's carrier network, otherwise your phone will be unable to receive the network signal.

● Restore the phone to its factory default settings by first rebooting the phone into the recovery menu (press the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously) from a powered off state.

● If none of the solutions work, it's likely to be a hardware problem, e.g. mainboard, antenna, network module, etc. We recommend contacting the support center for aftersales to arrange product repair.

● This can happen during charging due to the charging current, please try using the screen when the phone is not charging. The screen responsiveness should return to normal again.

● If the phone was dropped or damaged recently, the internal circuitry may be damaged. You will need to take the K4000 Pro to a repair store or replace the screen display.

● Excessive amounts of junk files, a large cache, or redundant files on the phone can all contribute to system slowdown (lag) as well as make the touchscreen less responsive. To remove excess and unnecessary files, install and regularly run a reputable and effective third-party app to clean up your phone, e.g. CCleaner, Clean Master, etc.

● Try to reboot the phone or restore it to factory settings via the recovery menu. You can find the exact process elsewhere in this guide.

● Try to reboot the phone or restore it to its factory settings via recovery mode.

● Manually hard reset the phone while it's in the powered off state:

(a). Hold and long press the Power button + Volume Up key together to power on the phone.

(c). Navigate to the "wipe data / factory reset" option using Volume Down, and select the option with the Power button.
