Troubleshooting the NO.1 D5 Bluetooth smart watch

Your NO.1 D5 smart watch cannot be charged? Black screen shows up? Battery power consumes fast? Heart rate measurement fails? Or it has GPS failure? SIM card and other issues? Here are the handy solutions for these issues you may encounter!

● Make sure there is a solid contact between the smart watch and the charging base.

● Check the charging contacts for any visible signs of oxidation. Carefully remove any residue and try to charge the smart watch again.

● Always try to charge the watch using the original charging base and the USB cable that came in the box to ensure the correct power input and output.

● If this is the first time you have charged the NO.1 D5 smart watch, please use a high-power adapter to charge it for more than 3 hours, then try to boot the smart watch.

● If none of the above solutions are successful, the most likely reason is the battery is damaged. Go to a local repair store to fix the device, or contact our aftersales center to arrange a product return and repair.

Sometimes NO.1 D5 Bluetooth smart watch gets stuck at the boot interface. Or when charging, the smart watch can be fully charged, or just charge for 50% - 70%, or cannot charge at all.

To address all these issues, you can try the following solutions:

● This might be caused by some kind of system problem. Try to update the system firmware ROM with the latest firmware release in the official website.

How long a battery lasts primarily depends on how the device is used. Specifically, you may have opened too many background apps and functions. To decrease the power consumption, turn off unnecessary apps and functions, e.g. GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc. Similarly, if the screen is always on, power consumption will be greater. Adjust the brightness to a moderate level to reduce the power draw.

If the above solutions cannot cope with the issue, try the following steps:

● Close all running apps when charging, to avoid the memory effect.

● The watch has only 450mAh power capacity, it is sure to drain quickly when you use it frequently.

● Activate the battery "power saving mode" under "Settings - Power saving".

● If you do not use the watch frequently, and all running apps are closed, but the battery is still draining too fast. At its boot state, fully charge the battery and remove the watch from the charger. Then fully discharge / drain the battery. Charge it again for about 10 - 20 minutes, and check whether the issue is solved.

● If these steps do not help to prolong the battery life, the battery itself may be damaged. Please contact the aftersales support center for advice.

The watch was designed to support SIM card. But during production debugging, the watch performance is unstable after inserting one. So we removed this function from the product description. The watch is considered as a smart watch rather than a smart watch phone.

To solve this problem, you can:

● Just remove the SIM card, the watch will can be used normally.

● If the SIM card has caused a software fault, try to update the system firmware ROM with the latest firmware release in the official website.

● Make sure whether your watch has GPS activated in "Settings - Connect - GPS - Mode - High accuracy". The smart watch will be able to use GPS, WiFi and mobile networks to determine location.

● Restart the "High accuracy location" function, and grant access to any GPS location consent, this should allow you to use GPS normally. If no requests have appeared, try restarting the GPS or rebooting the device.

● If the GPS has activated, try moving to an open area outdoors with clear sky visibility. Being inside vehicles or buildings may interfere with the GPS signal. When you first use the GPS function, try to obtain a signal while static, before using it while in motion. If this is the first time you have used your phone's GPS, it may take a little longer to locate a satellite, please be patient.

Heart rate measurement failure can be caused by improper wearing manner or heart rate sensor issue.

● When you are not wearing your watch properly, it will prevent the wristband from measuring your heart rate. When measuring, please lay flat your arm, relax and keep still, ensure that the smart watch is making full, consistent contact with your wrist.

● If all the operations are right, but the watch still fails to measure, try rebooting your watch.

● Check if the heart rate sensor light is on. If it is not, the heart rate sensor is not working correctly. Either go to a local repair store to fix the sensor or contact our aftersales service to arrange a product return and factory repair.
