Vaper's guide: do you need to buy sub-ohm tanks?
By GB Blog Official 2018-07-03 4444 1
There are many sub-ohm tanks available on the market, with many strong brands such as Kanger, Joyetech, Aspire, Smok, and OBS (to mention just a few). Top models include: PROTANK 4, CUBIS, Cleito, TFV4 series, ACE tank and so on.
What is sub-ohm vaping?
Simply put, it refers to a resistance level of an atomizer coil head that is less than 1.0 ohm. This offers some interesting attributes to your vaping experience, however only you can decide whether or not the following matter to you.
1. It can create more vapor cloud
This is suitable for a cloud chasing vaper. When using a sub-ohm tank atomizer, a bigger wick or coil will be needed.
Those vapers usually require vape e-juice with a higher percentage of vegetable glycerin than propylene glycol because higher VG can create larger clouds and denser vapor.
2. It can release a more intense flavor
For the same reason that sub-ohm will produce larger clouds, it also tends to unlock much more flavor from the e-juice.
More vapor with each puff means more flavor as well. This bigger hit is by far the most popular reason that people start sub-ohm vaping, especially if they suffer from vaper's tongue.
3. Uses lower nicotine strength e-liquid
This makes sub-ohm vaping suitable for lower nicotine vapers.
Typically, a lower nicotine level (usually 6mg per ml or less) is used compare to who vape at a regular ohm resistance. Lower nicotine content tends to means you can vape more safely.
4. Much warmer vapor produced
Due to the extra heat that is created, sub-ohm vape creates a warmer vapor. If you prefer a cool vape, it is probably not the right choice for you.
Conclusion
Well, if you are a fan of both huge cloud production and the biggest burst flavor for your favorite e-juices, sub-ohm vaping might be for you.
But you should pay attention to vape safety. Sub ohm vaping utilizes the principles of Ohm's and Joule's law of electricity. You should understand these rules at first.
Don't start sub-ohming without doing a lot of research.
