WhatsApp: Dark fashion still in development
The Twitterer "WABetaInfo" has already found out in September 2018 that the developers are working on a dark fashion.
According to WAbetainfo, Facebook in WhatsApp version 2.19.47 Beta has revised the settings to work with Dark Mode. However, there is no official confirmation of the developer himself yet.
Since the WhatsApp expert WAbetainfo was often right with his analyses in the past, we can look forward to a dark design for WhatsApp soon.
Enable Dark Mode in WhatsApp
This dark mode cannot be used yet - because it is still being developed and has not been officially released even in the WhatsApp beta version. However, you can at least set a dark background image:
▪ In WhatsApp, tap the three dots in the upper right corner (⋮) and the settings.
▪ Opens Chats > Background.
▪ Tap Monochrome at the bottom.
▪ Now selects a dark background and confirms with Use.
You can reset the wallpaper in the same way, except that instead of using a single color you can use the Default option.
