Time to upgrade! Huawei details all new features of EMUI 9.1 interface
After announcing to the world the new P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite, Huawei finally released all the details of its EMUI 9.1 interface. According to the Chinese giant, the software is based on the Android 9.0 Pie, brings some aesthetic enhancements and a number of features.
The first change that the user will notice is that the interface is more refined. The EMUI 9.1 has gained new themes, wallpapers, and all the icons have been modified to display more flat and "natural ". According to Huawei, the application grid has also been changed with the standard reduced from 5 to 4.
With this, the company expects users to no longer suffer from accidental touch problems. The novelty still improves the visual aspect of the system, since the transitions have been smoothed. To ensure good performance, the new file system (EROFS) has now had its read speed increased by 20%.
The Chinese giant is also bringing with EMUI 9.1 a "GPU Turbo 3.0 " with improvements that should ensure optimum performance in games. The company promises that the resource should help in autonomy while consuming less energy. Check out more novelties introduced in the software:
● Wisdom Clip: A unique feature that automatically films videos, combines special effects and generates small movies.
● Touch pass: With Huawei Share OneHop, with a single tap you can swap files between devices.
● Car key: Your phone turns into a key and lets you open the door of your car. Currently, only supports Audi 7 models.
● AR measurement: The phone can use the cameras to measure the length, area, volume and height of objects.
For now, all the novelties are only available for the new devices on the P30 line. Even so, Huawei ensures that more devices should receive the software in the coming weeks.
