Almost all ASUS AM4 boards 300th and 400th series support RYZEN 3000

By  Felicity Rosa 2019-05-23 352 0

ASUS has published a complete list of motherboards that receive BIOS updates with support for future AMD Ryzen 3000 processors. This applies to motherboards based on the B350, X370, B450 and X470 chipsets. And this applies to all lines, starting with ROG, and ending with TUF and Prime.

At the same time, the updates did not affect ASUS motherboards on the A320 chipsets, despite the fact that they have the same electrical load as the B350 analog. The full list of motherboards that received updated BIOS versions is below.

Here is now a certainty thanks to BIOSTAR, the next processors AMD RYZEN 3000 ZEN 2 in 7 nm, will be compatible with current AM4 motherboards that are equipped with chipsets A320, B350, B450, X370 and X470, so much say all motherboards lately released.

If this is the case at BIOSTAR, as shown in the image just above, it is the same for other motherboards of other manufacturers. All that is missing is the processors.

MSI AM4 motherboards of the 300 and 400 generation support Next-Gen AMD CPUs and APUs

We have found that the MSI Customer Service has regrettably provided inaccurate information regarding the potential support for future AMD processors with the X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM motherboard model. With this statement we would like to clarify the situation.

Currently, we are conducting extensive testing of the existing portfolio of MSI 300 and 400 Series motherboards for compatibility with next-generation AMD Ryzen processors. Of course, MSI's intention is to provide maximum compatibility with the upcoming AMD Ryzen processors for as many products as possible. Prior to the launch of the next AMD CPU generation, MSI will release a comprehensive compatibility list of MSI AM4 motherboards. A list of upcoming BIOS versions, based on the AMD Combo PI Version 1.0.0.0, which also ensures the compatibility of the upcoming AMD APUs with MSI motherboards of the 300 and 400 series, is available for download.
