Amazon Echo Buds: with Alexa and noise reduction to compete with AirPods
By Adan Flannigan 2019-09-26 766 0
Amazon Echo Buds has similar function with AirPods
As previously rumored, Amazon's product "Echo Buds", designed to compete with Apple AirPods, is a wireless audio accessory. This headset can be connected to iOS and Android devices, with some basic features like AirPods that support virtual assistant features.
Amazon Echo Buds also supports Siri and Google Assistant
Echo Buds is not limited to Alexa, this wireless headset also supports wake up Siri and Google Assistant. For Alexa, Echo Buds will offer some unexpected features, such as helping users navigate through the Whole Foods store.
Amazon Echo Buds come with active noise
Amazon also includes Bose active noise reduction in Echo Buds, which can be turned on and off by double-clicking it. The two microphones outside Echo Buds work together with a microphone inside to reduce ambient noise and help Alexa identify it.
Each headset also includes two balanced armature drivers for clear and crisp mid and high frequencies, and a dynamic driver to cover lower frequencies. It is said that this is inspired by the in-ear monitor used by professional musicians.
Amazon Echo Buds new feature
Another of the gestures allows you to invoke the wizard of your mobile device, either Siri on iOS or Google Assistant on Android, so fortunately you will not be limited to Alexa. On the other hand, the headphones incorporate balanced armature drivers to excel in sound quality.
Amazon Echo Buds battery life and water proof
It is said that Echo Buds has a battery life of up to 5 hours and can be extended to 20 hours using the charging box. Echo Buds also comes with three different earbuds and wingtip fittings that hold it in place and are IPX4 waterproof rated to resist sweat during exercise.
Amazon Echo Buds price and availability
Echo Buds is priced at $129, which is much lower than the $159 retail price of the Apple AirPods with a regular charging box or the $199 retail price of AirPods with a wireless charging box. This is attractive for users looking for a lower-priced AirPod-style feature product and for Android users who want to own an AirPod-like device.
Echo Buds pre-order has started on Wednesday, local time, and will be shipped from October 30th.
