AMD introduces the 12-core Ryzen 9 3900X at half the price of the Intel Core i9 9920X chip

The 3900x has a 4.6 Ghz boost speed and a 70MB total cache, and uses 105 watts of thermal design power (relative to the 165 watts of the i9 9920x) to make it more efficient. AMD said that in the Blender demo for the Intel i9-9920x, the speed of the 3900x has increased by about 18%. The other chips in the series start at 6-pin, 12-pin 3600, priced at $199, and the 8-core 16-line Ryzen 3700x sells for $329 (4.4 Ghz enhancement, 36 MB total cache and 65 watt TDP); 8 cores, 16 lines The Ryzen 3800X (4.5 Ghz, 32MB cache, 105w) is priced at $399.
AMD also revealed that its first Navi graphics processor unit will be the Radeon RX 5000 series. Pricing is closely watched as it may force Nvidia to lower the price of competing products. AMD announced that the GPU will be available in July, but more details, including pricing, performance and new features, will be announced next month at the Los Angeles E3.
AMD announced that its first EPYC Rome data center processor, demonstrated at CES, will be launched in the next quarter, a quarter ahead of previous expectations, and compete with Intel's Cascade Lake. AMD said that in the benchmark test, EPYC Rome is twice as fast as Cascade Lake.
