AMD RX5700 positioning mid-range, chip size is only half of RTX 2070

In contrast, the NVIDIA RTX 2070 features a 445 square millimeter TU-106-400 GPU. The Navi RX 5700 series GPU is even smaller than the TU116 (284mm2) of the GTX 1660.

It is reported that AMD CEO Su Zifeng released the first Navi graphics card RX 5700 at the Taipei Computer Show, using the RDNA architecture, 1.5X per watt performance improvement, comprehensive performance super RTX 2070, officially launched in July.

Board manufacturer ASRock (ASRock) demonstrated three custom versions of the RX 5000 series graphics card on Computex 2019, both of which are dual 8PIN powered designs, which, like the current RX 590, means that the overall power consumption of the graphics card can go to 225W.

AMD gave a simple demonstration of the Radeon RX 5700 in a keynote speech at Computex 2019 yesterday. According to AMD's data, the Radeon RX 5700 is 10% faster than the GeForce rtx 2070 of the NVIDIA in the game "Singular Squad".
