AMD Ryzen 3000 compared to the Intel Core i9-9900K

The new AMD Ryzen CPUs will be released in mid-2019 and will be the first to be produced with TSMC's 7nm production process, as well as supporting the new PCIe 4.0 x16 standard. Full specifications along with the models will be revealed before the official launch.
On stage, AMD compared a new eight-core processor with Intel's i9-9900K, using Cinebench R15 to show multi-threaded performance. The Ryzen 3000 CPU (at non-final clock speeds) reached a score of 2057, while Intel's i9-9900K reached 2040 points. Not only that, the AMD system has absorbed 30% less energy than the Intel system, demonstrating the efficiency of the new architecture and the new production process.
The real chip of the new Ryzen CPU was shown and uses a similar design to the second generation Epyc CPUs. The smallest die is a 7nm processor with 8 cores and 16 threads while the secondary die focuses on I / O. This configuration allows AMD to use the same CPU chips as the EPYC processors, thus maximizing production and gains.
Looking at the chip it is possible that AMD could mount a second 8-core CPU, which would lead to 16-core and 32-thread total models. This could confirm the latest rumors about Ryzen 3000 processors.
