OnePlus is taking advantage of the Google I / O 2019 event to announce the release of a first firmware based on Android Q for its OnePlus 6 and 6T smartphones.

Criticized at the beginning for the lack of update of its smartphones, the manufacturer OnePlus is now among the most responsive in the field, quickly updating its smartphones of the moment and continuing to track mobile devices of older generation for example its OnePlus 3 / 3T .

Taking advantage of the Google I / O 2019 annual developer event, OnePlus announces the availability of Android Q , the next evolution of Google's mobile platform, in beta for its OnePlus 6 and 6T smartphones .

Smartphones can thus be reference platforms, alongside Pixel, to help developers create their applications, and more broadly to technophiles to test the latest features and report information before the arrival of the final version more late this year.

OnePlus cultivating a community of enthusiasts, the provision of Android Q on its smartphones is also a strong signal of its commitment to closely follow developments in the mobile OS, in close partnership with Google.

The manufacturer promises updates for two years after the launch of a new smartphone, and then the security patches for another year.

The beta version of Android Q is already available for the OnePlus 6 and 6T smartphones and will also be recoverable for the OnePlus 7 Pro on May 14 and for the OnePlus 7 a few weeks later, before the update to the finalized version. Android Q during the second half.
