Come and see what's new! The presentation of iOS 13 started by focusing on performance: FaceID 30% faster and iOS is now 2x faster to open applications.
Then there's the most striking news: iOS 13 will finally have Dark Mode! The Apple design team has applied Dark Mode to the entire Apple operating system and services, including the keyboard that will also have the swipe to write feature. Using OLED screens from iPhone X, Dark Mode will bring better contrast and a deeper visual experience.
Sign In with Apple
Privacy also featured prominently in the iOS 13 presentation. Apple has repeatedly stressed the importance of privacy and that data should belong to consumers. This is how Sign In with Apple was presented!
Similar to the means of authentication of Google and Facebook, Sign In with Apple stands out for not allowing tracking of user activity. In addition, if you do not want to share your personal information, Apple's authentication method creates a separate email for authentication on a particular service.
Photos and videos: iOS will have more powerful and intuitive tools
New, simpler and more intuitive photo-editing capabilities. Now we can also edit video directly in iOS 13. In fact, the jump is so big that you can even shoot a video. The presence of duplicate images is no longer a problem, now that Apple has the ability to discover these images. They are removed from the timeline and are no longer shown.
The visualization of the images has also been improved, and navigation in these user repositories is now even more fluid. We can navigate from a mosaic of all our images to one of these images directly. Site detection has been improved and now the images can be grouped by years and by location, showing users their past, chronologically and geographically.
Maps, reminders and other native apps with news
Apple has invested heavily in its Maps. Previously much lower than Google Maps, with 3D street mapping Apple Maps will be much more advanced, with details on the map much higher than the previous version.
The 3D mapping of the streets will allow you to navigate the streets and interact with shops, etc. ... Something identical to the present in Google Maps but with a UX that appeared to be quite interesting.
Besides Animoji, users will have Memoji Stickers on iOS 13! Based on Animoji, Memoji Stickers are personalized stickers for the user. The physical appearance of these stickers can be changed by the user, such as adding piercings, makeup, hairstyles, etc.
iOS 13 will be available for iPhone 6S and later, including iPhone SE!
