Apple tvOS 13 features: brings the most personal film experience

tvOS 13 Features

▪ New Home screen. Apple TV 4K has a new home screen that is even more interactive and invites you to explore. Apps now show a full-screen video preview on the Home screen, so users can instantly enjoy great new TV shows, movies, songs and games.

▪ Multi-user support. With the new Apple TV Control Center, switching between family members is easy, so everyone can enjoy their own personal entertainment experience. Users see their individual 'Next' playlist and get recommendations for TV shows and movies that match their interests. The new Control Center also gives users quick access to key Apple TV features, including sleep mode and audio output to another speaker or headset.

▪ Apple music. Apple Music on tvOS 13 benefits from multi-user support and lets anyone at home easily play their personal playlists and recommendations. Users can instantly see the song they're listening to in the new Control Center, and now read the text of their favorite songs on the screen in real time.

▪ Apple Arcade. Apple Arcade will be released on Apple TV 4K in the fall. With just one subscription, six family members have unlimited access to more than 100 new and exclusive games, without advertising or additional purchases, but with more supported game controllers. Customers can then experience Apple Arcade games on their iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and Apple TV.

▪ Xbox and PlayStation game controllers. tvOS 13 now supports the world's best and most popular game controllers, Xbox One S and PlayStation DualShock 4, making it even easier for gamers to experience Apple Arcade and other great games on the App Store.1

▪ New screensaver. Apple expands the stunning collection of 4K HDR screensavers to Apple TV 4K and delves into the underwater world with its users. tvOS 13 comes with the new Apple TV App, where users can search and watch their TV shows and movies in different ways in a powerful app. The Apple TV App delivers Apple TV channels, personal recommendations and more than 100,000 iTunes movies and TV shows, including the largest collection of 4K HDR titles to browse, buy or rent. Apple TV+, Apple's first video streaming service, will be available in the Apple TV App this fall. The Apple TV app will also be available on other Apple devices and selected third-party platforms.
