ASUS Zenfone 6 specs, release date and other rumors

Now the Taiwanese company is again publishing a new teaser in which we see the smartphone with no apparent edges and also no notch in the display, indicating once again that much of the front panel should be covered by screen and the design should hide camera sensors under the sliding panel.
In the image we see a person walking on a catwalk and lighting radiating from the top of the smartphone. At the centre is the Asus smartphone line logo, the motto "defy ordinary" and the date of the event: May 16th, the third Thursday of the month.
In addition to the Zenfone 6, Asus is expected to present the flagship Zenfone 6Z with a similar design and high-performance Snapdragon 855 processor and a higher price, of course.
Announcement next! ASUS Zenfone 6 receives Bluetooth certification
Zenfone 6 is due to be presented next month at an event to be held in Spain. The new Taiwanese flagship ASUS device is still a big unknown, as no major leak has been found to date.
However, it has already been found in benchmark testing featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage space.
In addition, it has also been certified by FCC and Anatel. Now, he also receives a Bluetooth certification, which despite not showing any novelty, confirms the use of Bluetooth 5.0. Check it out:
It will be officially presented to the public on 16 May at an event in Valencia, Spain. Until then, we will hope that new leaks of the model occur.
Arriving in Brazil! ASUS Zenfone 6 receives Anatel approval
And ASUS may be much closer to bringing its new Zenfone 6 smartphone to Brazil than users imagine. According to Anatel's website, the device is going through the homologation process to start being sold here in the country next semester.
Registered with the model number ZS630KL, the cell phone appears in the list of cell phones of the company that have certification to be produced and sold in the country, even knowing that this availability to the public will take a while, because the event to launch it in Valencia, Spain, is scheduled to happen in May.
Zenfone 6 goes through FCC certification confirming 18W fast charging
Confirmed for announcement in the month of May in Valencia, Spain, we are increasingly close to meet the newest generation of the Zenfone line from Asus. And of course this also makes more common and recurring the inevitable leaks and prior information revealed by certification bodies, as has just happened again.
The FCC (Federal Communications Commission) very recently granted certification to the ASUS_I01WD model not yet released and not even available for sale, but which we all know as its trade name for Zenfone 6.
The registration in the United States agency does not highlight many new features except small details such as support for fast charging 18W and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
It is curious to note still a very interesting detail in this last image above, which displays the location of the FCC label on the smartphone, but also ends up detailing the supposed location of the dual module for the rear camera and a possible biometric sensor just below.
We do not know if this model displayed in the register is only a prototype or is really the final device, which would end up disqualifying the previous leaks that the device should arrive with three rear cameras and biometrics on the screen. Thus, it is more likely that the photos and images displayed in previous weeks are more accurate than the current record, but news should appear in the coming days.
