Bose announces the Headphones 700, successor to the excellent QC35 II?

Available in black or silver, the Headphones 700 will not replace the QC35 in the catalogue. Instead, it will be positioned at the very top of the range, at a price of 399.95 euros. The first deliveries are announced for the end of June.

Given the QuietComfort 35 II's excellence and popularity (you can see it on both ears and AirPods), you can trust Bose. For the Headphones 700, the manufacturer has reviewed the design from top to bottom. The result is a thinner steel hoop and tactile controls in addition to three physical buttons (power supply, noise reduction and voice assistant). The engineers also designed the product to perfectly integrate the current voice assistants - Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa - to leave your smartphone alone. It should be noted that they will not all be in the same boat: the one designed by Amazon can be used with a simple voice command.

Bose has also reworked the sound insulation to further reduce outside noise with six state-of-the-art microphones (power can be adjusted). As an added bonus, four microphones will isolate your voice for phone calls or conversations with a better quality voice assistant - a black spot of the QC 35 that tends to capture all noise in call mode. Of course, Bose promises impeccable playback when it comes to enjoying its favorite playlists - with "exclusive active equalization and impressive bass reproduction".

The Headphones 700 will be part of the Bose AR ecosystem, which is audio augmented reality. For example, looking at a place will activate sound information via geolocation data (example: a restaurant). Introduced with Frames sunglasses, this technology nevertheless requires compatible applications to give the best of itself.

As for autonomy, the Headphones 700 will be able to last 20 hours without sagging. It will be charged in USB-C. Of course I do.
