Dell equipped XPS 15 with Core 9000 and GTX 1650

We say this because although there are important hardware changes the chassis of this equipment has not changed, which means that it maintains the classic design to which we are accustomed. It's important to note that this doesn't have to be interpreted as bad news, because both the finish and the sober finish of the Dell XPS 15 represent a clear value that many users like.
The new Dell XPS 15 (7590) can be configured with an Intel Core i9 9980HK processor (8 cores and 16 threads), 64 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD storage and a GTX 1650 with 4 GB GDDR5 memory. Together these specifications are very good and put this laptop one step from the high range, being its graphics card the only thing that is a little unbalanced compared to the rest of components.
Generally speaking, a GTX 1650 performs between a GTX 1050 Ti and a GTX 1060 of 3 GB, which means that it is a mid-range model and that it is in a lower position if we compare it with the rest of components (the Core i9 9980HK for example is the most powerful Intel for general consumption in laptops).
Dell has confirmed that we will be able to configure it with an OLED display and 4K resolution, or opt for the base model with 1080p resolution. In terms of autonomy they promise up to 20.5 hours, while at the level of advanced features has confirmed the support of Wi-Fi 6 and the integration of a fingerprint reader.
The base model will be priced at $999.99, while the OLED model will be priced at $1,899.99. It will be available starting today, May 28.
