Dell XPS 15 will be the first laptop to use the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 with the Intel Kaby Lake

Specifically it is called Dell XPS 15 9560 and there will be space for a GeForce GTX 1050, which is a graph of which we have already talked about before. This is the access step to the new generation Nvidia, the most affordable solution that has enough to offer in a laptop because it has the same features as the desktop version (possibly go somewhat slower clock).
The graph has the brain Pascal GP107 and is well accompanied by 4GB of GDDR5 memory. We remind you that it has 640 CUDA cores, 40 TMUs and 32 ROPs. In terms of performance is similar to a GeForce GTX 970M, consuming 25% less.
The GTX 1050 is expected at CES
The funny thing is that this Nvidia 'GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile' has to be officially presented at CES 2017, but has appeared temporarily on the Dell website, in what seems to have been a fat clue. There are no longer any signs of that information, but since the Internet remembers everything, we have been able to access the info thanks to the guys at Videocardz.
Without being the most of the most, this is a laptop to work for demanding users. This is proved by the choice of a new batch processor such as the Kaby Lake Core i3-7100HQ, i5-7300HQ or i7-7700HQ. Interesting that "HQ" in the denomination, means that they are four-core processors.
The 15-inch screen can be configured with 4K resolution, 3.840x2.160 pixels we think there are many for this card to start moving games natively, but it will work well in another type of use.
Although now the fashion is to sell everything as computers 'gaming', this new Dell XPS 15 does not look like it, despite being quite well footwear with its new graphics. For these things, better go to the Alienware family of the house. Possibly there is a more interesting configuration with 1440p screen, and who knows, a version with 13 inches and the Nvidia graphic.
Soon we will know more officially, for now this is all we can tell.
