DJI Mavic 2 Pro vs DJI Mavic Air vs DJI Spar: Image quality

DJI Spark

DJI Spark

With the DJI Spark you can film in Full HD quality at 30 frames per second. The 12 megapixel sensor provides detailed images. Even in low-light situations, you can still take relatively good shots with the Spark. For making videos you set an ISO value up to 3200, for photos that is 1600 ISO.

Lovers of 4K videos have come to the right place at the DJI Mavic AIR. With this drone you can film in 4K quality at 30 frames per second. The 3-axis gimbal ensures smooth and stable images. This way you prevent jerky images even in strong winds. Take photos with this drone in JPEG and DNG format.

DJI Mavic 2 Pro

With the DJI Mavic 2 Pro you can also film in 4K quality at 30 frames per second. Thanks to the large 1 inch sensor, your videos are very detailed. A 3-axis image stabilizer keeps the images sharp. You photograph with the drone in RAW format. This gives you more options during post-processing of your photos.

DJI Spark

DJI Spark

The compact DJI Spark drone can be fully controlled with hand gestures. You can control both taking off and taking a photo with a hand gesture or with the included controller. By connecting your phone to the Spark via an app, you also control it with your phone. In the app you choose 1 of the flight modes and let the drone easily fly back to you via the 'Go home' button.

DJI Mavic AIR

The DJI Mavic AIR can also be controlled entirely with hand gestures. This is useful if you prefer to keep your hands free. For more precise control, use the supplied controller. By clamping your phone in the controller, you can follow all the actions of the drone on the screen via the app. In the app you choose from various flight modes, such as the ActiveTrack. In this mode the drone automatically follows a person. In Sport Mode you let the drone fly quickly.

Just like with the DJI Mavic Air, a controller is supplied with the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Here you place your smartphone, so that you see what you are filming with the drone. You set various flight modes on the screen. In terms of flight modes, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro has the most. In addition to an improved version of ActiveTrack, you also have, for example, the hyperlapse mode, whereby the drone can move during a timelapse recording.
