Royole company released the second generation of flexible screen and the FlexPai, a flexible screen device that integrates the functions of smart phones, tablet computers and other devices. It is a big-screen tablet device that can make phone calls and can be folded. The product starts from 8,999 CNY (about $1302) and will be pre-ordered on November 1.
The flexible screen 2 generation integrated 20 million ultra-precision devices and 6 million flexible integrated circuits. Compared with LCD screen and OLED screen, the second generation flexible screen is thinner and lighter, and it only weights 2.7g including the weight of the display parts.
It is said that the 2 generation flexible screen has undergone more than 200,000 times bending tests. As there is no glass on the front, so the screen will not be easily broken.
The product adopts a new generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series platform. The platform has 7nm process technology, supports AI algorithm, and can support 5G network after expansion. In terms of software, Flexpai runs Water OS, the operating system developed by Royole.
The flexible screen can be unfolded directly into two sides, and in the middle there is also a small display screen. When a call comes, you can choose to answer it or hang it up, and it will not affect your entertainment or work on the split screen.
Although the flexible screen is widely favored by the industry, but the application scene is not many, the real landing products are very few. But this product is a real eye-popper. We hope this product will be on the market as soon as possible.
