Huawei FreeBuds: My new life with plugs in my ear

By  Linky Johnson 2019-04-20 1033 0

I've been pinning with the Huawei FreeBuds for a long time, but I ended up staying old-school with cable over the jacket. At the end of last year, however, I took the step. It's just awesome! If new smartphones feel less and less like a real update, the wireless headphones with microphone are a real game changer.

Huawei FreeBuds – It looks weird

Over weeks and months, I watched the people on the commuter train. There they stand with these comical plugs in their ear and probably have to load the headphones every few hours. Such a small jetty runs down from the ear and then you read again and again about disconnections. Do you really have to invest more than a hundred euros for this? The cable headset with USB-C never needs to be loaded and works. However, it's awesome! You just have to dare and switch sides. Do I just belong to these people with Air, Free, Wireless Pods in my ear! I dared and I didn't regret it. The Huawei FreeBuds are intercharged in the small case thanks to battery. At home, you can easily load the closed case via USB-C. Since I already own a Mate 20 Pro, I don't even need an extra charging cable anymore. In addition, the case is small and always included in the jacket pocket. The Huawei FreeBuds is currently available for around a hundred euros. It just feels like a piece of future. Never again the tangled cable! Just answer the call and don't search plugs first, plug it in and at least place a listener in your ear. Terrific experience. Such a small thing has a huge effect in everyday life.

Just tap the headphones

I love my new headphones because I can just wear them in my ear and take the call by tap. You don't even have to read the instructions to do this. You want to do it automatically and the engineers made it happen. Google Assistant can also be accessed. The sound is hard to do. I'm not an audio philosopher now, but the sound is neatly and surprisingly rich. Even better? Finally call without a cable headset and do the washing up. Listen to music on the go, answer the call, speak and then continue listening to music. Totally simple and awesome. I am now really annoyed when I have to reach for the cable headset. Annoyed hard! Making phone calls is good, but you're probably a little quieter for the interlocutor. I've been told that more often. You then automatically speak louder yourself. With InEar headphones then maybe too loud for his surroundings. By the way, there are really the very short disconnections. Sometimes the song stamps up for half a second and then runs on fix. That doesn't happen and doesn't bother me any piece. It's just a fucking Bluetooth connection and not a cable. The benefits outweigh extremely hard here and these rare dropouts sound worse in any review than they are in reality. Much more annoying are these tangled cables, the eternal freeze with the cable and after two seconds in the bag the headphones with cables are then already chaotically engulfed again.

Absolute recommendation

Visually, society is slowly accustoming to these headphones with battery. It's really a huge advance. It is difficult to describe this, but has to experience it for yourself a few days. Sometimes you look for the absolute killer feature with new smartphones, which then does not exist at all, because the improvements are in the detail. The Huawei FreeBuds are simply an instant improvement. Great sound, intuitive control and the high-quality charging base with USB-C is simply good. My best purchase of the last year in terms of hardware. After three days at the latest, one is no longer approached about the funny plugs in the ear. Battery? Being on the road in the city, listening to music and making phone calls. Then the freebuds back into the case and they load again. That's not a problem at all. first-rate!
