Huawei Hongmeng OS vs Google Android system

For the ecosystem of mobile device platforms, there are three very important links, namely, hardware device support, developer ecosystem, and consumer experience.
Therefore, regardless of the technical level, the differences between hongmeng system and android system are mainly reflected in the three points, which are also whether hongmeng system can finally avoid the mistakes of Windows and realize the dream of three parts of the world.
1. Hardware support
In terms of shipments, Huawei's global shipments are already the world's second largest, behind samsung and ahead of apple.
Oppo, Vivo and xiaomi, which rank among the top mobile phone shipments in the world, also have to find themselves a "backup" due to the adverse environment of the current trade war between China and the United States and trump's aggressive posture of burning them all. After all, no phone company wants to be "racketeer" like Huawei.
So, even in the worst case scenario, hongmeng's system will be fully adopted on its own hardware.
Therefore, in terms of the support of hardware devices, hongmeng system is far superior to the Windows mobile system of the year, and even can surpass the current android system in extreme cases, eventually forming the situation that iOS, hongmeng system and android system are divided into three parts.
If so, then trump is shooting himself in the foot.
Whether an operating system can be popular, in addition to the support of hardware devices, whether enough applications support is also critical.
At this point, though, hongmeng is compatible with all previous android apps. But attracting enough developers to the ecosystem after launch may be the key to the success of hongmeng's system.
Currently, iOS has the best developer ecosystem, followed by android, while hongmeng system needs to build a developer ecosystem from scratch and fully support hongmeng system in the traditional android app distribution market, which is an extremely severe challenge.
Of course, if the extreme case of 1 occurs, I believe this is not a problem.
3. Consumer experience
For mobile operating systems, the consumer experience comes at three levels: hardware support, the smoothness of the operating system itself (see earlier iOS vs. android comparisons), and app richness.
Given that the operating system itself has the technology in place, enough hardware to support it, and plenty of new applications to support it, the consumer experience can't be bad.
Of course, there is a big worry for hongmeng compared to android. The concern is evident in overseas markets, where apps from Google and some U.S. software makers (Google Play, Gmail,Youtube, etc.) are banned from Huawei phones. And it is believed that if oppo, vivo and xiaomi move to hongmeng system, they will also be banned.
In theory, Huawei could develop its own alternatives, such as replacing Google maps with autonavi. But some highly sticky applications may require consumers to think twice about using alternatives. For example, if WeChat is disabled on iPhone, I believe quite a few users will abandon iPhone.
To sum up, the differences between Huawei's hongmeng system and Google's android system may come from four aspects (technology and ecology) :
1. Technical maturity of the operating system
2. Ecological level - hardware support
3. Ecological level - developer ecology
4. Ecological level - consumer experience
If you can solve these problems, hongmeng system and iOS, android three world is promising.
But if it doesn't fix these things, hongmeng won't end up much better than Windows mobile.
To put it simply, there are two ways to make up for the current ecological deficiency.
The hongmeng B system (or any other name) is specifically designed for the next 5-10 years in new areas (IOT, AR/VR/AI).
In this way, it can not only dominate the existing mobile system platform, but also become the leader in the new device platform in the next 5-10 years.
