Phone 11 and iPhone 11 Max, like the previous models, will be equipped with an AMOLED display with diagonals of 5.8 inches and 6.5 inches respectively. Both will be equipped with the usual notch, which will not bring any aesthetic change, remaining almost identical. The novelties, however, will be inside the notch, where there will be an updated Face ID system that will allow it to be used from wider angles than now.
On the back, the presence of a new "glass" coating similar to glass is confirmed, as is the triple chamber with the design we have now learned to know, with a square bump, which will be thinner than the current module, and a triangular arrangement of the sensors. Among these there will be the welcome novelty of a 12 megapixel wide-angle sensor that will support a field of view of 120 degrees, just under the Galaxy S10 that comes to 123 degrees.
Initially Apple had thought of adding the optical stabilization of the image to all three rear sensors, then discarded hypothesis, which will be reassessed for the iPhone 5G in 2020. For this year, optical image stabilization will remain only on the main sensor and telephoto lens, such as the iPhone XS. Also new for the LED flash that, although it will not increase in size, should be much brighter.
Finally, there will also be news regarding the image processor (ISP) and the Smart HDR function, so as to get far better photos. The details aren't much about it, but the leaker said it will be "better than anything Google, Samsung or Huawei have done before".
Other changes will include a less glossy stainless steel frame on the Space Grey model and an updated stereo speaker configuration, for clearer and louder sound.
The iPhone 11 line will be available with iOS 13 on board, but it will be presented in early June at WWDC 2019, where we will discover all the news.
The leak reports more information about the long-awaited Dark Mode, which apparently will adopt a dark gray color and not a deep black, perfect for AMOLED displays, as previously hoped.
There will also be an update for Siri, with more advanced multi-command support, important improvements to general understanding and minor improvements to contextual understanding. Finally, intelligent RAM management is expected to learn from user habits in order to accelerate the use of iOS.
